This is the worst smelling product I have ever tried. If you can get past the smell, it will condition your hair to the point of flatness. A little too matted and flat for me. I prefer the fekkai glossing products they smell great and don't leave a weird greasy residue. You also don't have to wait fifteen minutes to rinse it out. I don't know if I'm ever going to get the awful smell out of my towels. Gross!

I put this on my hair after shampoo and it just gave my hair lots of volume from frizz. I have long dry chemically treated hair and was looking for an deep conditioner. This is not it. I didn't mind the smell but for the price I expected a bigger bottle.

I cannot say enough about this miracle product. First of all, I am caucasian and an african-american friend of mine had recommended it highly and repeatedly. (My hair is super thick, with a wave and it was getting incredibly damaged from a straightening and then from coloring it.) I was skeptical, mainly b/c of the price, but she kept insisting. I tried it after shampooing and left it on for about 15 minutes per her instructions, then I rinsed. I dried my hair as usual and from the second I started drying, I noticed the difference. The result? Healthy, supple, shiny hair, like when I was in my teens or my 20s (I was in mid-40s when I started using it).
Later that day, I was complimeted on my hair (??!!) - a FIRST for me - 3X and at 3 different places. After the 3X, I asked them if my husband had put them up to it, b/c it was turning into a joke (we were w/ another couple and the other woman was getting a bit annoyed to say the least!). My hair looks so great and feels so healthy every time I use it (about 2X/month).
Today I am a loyal customer/ I'm just glad i found it here after the local Douglas store closed. I will NEVER stop using this product! I have now recommended it to ALL of my friends - african american, caucasian, any of them with damaged hair!!

This is the best conditioner I have EVER used. I used to switch hair products constantly because nothing ever worked, but I have been using this for over a year! I have super dry hair (I can go 2 weeks without washing it without anyone noticing...) and this completely changed the texture. The first time I used it I was doubtful it was working because it is not as smooth as most conditioners and doesn't make an immediate difference in your hair when it is wet... However, when my hair dried and I went to straighten it, it was MUCH easier to style and was noticeably silkier! I have extremely dry hair and get highlights regularly, and even my hair stylist was amazed at how much healthier my hair looked when I started using it. I usually don't write these reviews, but this really is a life changing product!

This conditioner is not a great one, especially for African-American hair that requires a conditioner with good detangling agents. It did not detangle my hair at all. It felt good going on but when I rinsed hair was still matted.

This will completely change the texture of your hair. I have dry frizzy hard to control hair and this stuff keeps it all under control. I use this once a week because you will continue to feel it in your hair through the next few shampoos. It does not buildup at all though so do not worry about that. This is a must for summer frizz.

Either my hair must be really bad, or I am missing something in regards to the Phyto products! I bought the shampoo, intense nutrition mask, and vital force creme bath. I used the shampoo and nutrition mask, and have noticed absolutely no difference in my hair - if anything it feels coarser than after using some of my drugstore brands! I am returning the unopened creme bath.
Very disappointed for such a pricey item!

I have dry-ish hair (curly and long), and this made it so soft. It smells fine. I do not seem to have to leave it in as long as the directions instruct. Five minutes works fine for me.

I have frizzy, fine, poofy, wavy, graying, highlighted, and color-treated hair that has a mind of its own. Ack!!!!! NOT ANY MORE!!! This is an unparalleled conditioner! I can't beleive this is the same hair I had 3 days ago. WOW!!!

Well worth the price. I love this stuff. Excellent for African and Latin American hair. I used this for the first time and was shocked by how well it softened my hair. I wear my hair natural, and I have been getting compliments from many people, including my barber.
Whether you are male or female, I recommend that you make this a staple in your hair care routine. I really can say without any doubt that the Phyto line of hair care products are well worth every penny.
