Once I read about these drops making a comeback, I was overly excited and ordered three bags right away. Imagine my disappointment when the flavor tasted nothing like the originals from the 1980's. The coloring of the drops even looks lighter from what I remember. Please bring the old formula back for the honey drops!!! Now they're being made again and my whole family enjoys them. Remembered from my childhood, they blow away brands like Smith Bros., Vicks, Ludens, Halls, Fisherman's Friend and even Ricola! The flavor, the soothing effects, the "soft," chewable experience makes them the favorite cough drop for me. Try them and you'll never buy any other brand. Yes - they're that good! Pros

Best Uses Comments about Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops, Natural Honey, 26 ea: I'm sticking with the cherry flavor. This one tastes nothing like the original and smells awful. The taste & smell made me think there was something terribly wrong with them. I do wish they would package the bags in a re-sealable version. I ended up ordering the cherry in both the container and bags to refill it. The cherry is still great, and the glycerine makes them very soothing. Pros Cons

So happy to find these drops on-line! I used them in the 70's and remember the little box with wax paper lining! Will definitely be ordering more when I finish my current supply! Pros

Softish Throat Drops, Natural Honey, 26 ea: Inconsistent - one that I got said "62 mg" of glycerin, then another one said "65 mg" and they were definitely a different taste and odor. More flowery type of smell and taste was not good. The cherry I've gotten have been better than the honey, Hope Pine Bros. go back to original formula in the honey flavor.
