Back when I was young I used to buy five or so boxes of these and eat them like candy. They are just like I remember, except that the packaging is different, and in the old days the "drops" used to stick together and one would have to break them apart. They're like a slightly-harder gummy bear with a little less sugar but more of a grainy quality to it. Blech. They don't work for a cough, either- you might as well suck on a cherry-flavored gummy bear (at least it'll taste better). No help for a sore throat at all. The price for these little drops is ridiculous considering that they don't work & have the worst packaging I've ever seen! The bag doesn't reseal in any way (it's not even designed to TRY). These aren't individually-wrapped, making portability a pain in the neck even if you like these, not to mention losing freshness faster unless you transfer them to an airtight bag/container. Softish Throat Drops Value Pack, Wild Cherry, 32 ea: Ok, aside from leaving a coating on your throat they aren't really sore throat medicine any more than sucking on a hard candy is sore throat medicine, but if that is what you are looking for than you are probably missing the point. I loved eating these like candy when I was a kid, and have seriously craved them even since the company disappeared. The new formulation is a little different, maybe a little less waxy, a slight change in flavor, but if you were a fan when these were out before you will not be disappointed. These hit the spot and bring you back twenty years. A little pricey, but worth it. Pros Cons

I recommend you order quite a few bags because they're so delicious, you'll want to tuck some in your purse or briefcase. Much better than chewing gum because they soothe your throat yet offer a satisfying chewing experience if you're so inclined. No icky menthol!! You will LOVE this product!! Pros

I love them for their yummy and delicious taste! (There is really nothing in them that is chemically medicinal, only glycerine that will soothe sore throats.)
