I take this product once in the morning and once in the evening. I don't like to drink fiber, so I thought this may be a good alternative. Someone recommended I use this to help "cleanse" and stay regular. It works.

I decided to try this supplement when I read about it in an ayurvedic article. All of my adult life I have suffered from extreme constipation & other stomach troubles. I've tried everything from harsh laxatives (senna, Dulcolax) to stool softeners to epsom salts to changing my diet (more fiber). Even with diet changes, which up until now has been the most helpful, I still had times when it would take several days for movement, unless I was very strict & ate next to nothing. This is obviously not healthy so I thought I'd give this natural herb a try, since nothing else had worked without exacerbating my stomach problems. I did my research & discovered that triphala blends have been used for centuries by Indian people whose mainly vegetarian diet does not allow their bodies to handle harsh laxatives. I cannot say enough how glad I am that I found this supplement!! I have movements every day instead of 2-3 times per week, I no longer have to worry that if I have an unhealthy meal I've derailed my efforts that day or week and I feel more energized. I could feel the difference right away, my digestion is normal and my entire body feels great. It doesn't have "explosive" effects but it does make you very regular. This may be a lot to say about one product but honestly, I could not be more thankful that I tried it & encourage anyone whose exhausted all options to do the same. It's reasonably priced in comparison to many products & it actually works. There are no cramps or other side effects. My only complaint is that the pills are a little large and if you have trouble swallowing pills, you should split them in half. Either way make sure to drink plenty of water after you take them. I take two per day twice a day (as recommended), in the morning & in the afternoon. And it's also an expectorant so I've noticed it helped me get over a cold quicker than usual due to making me cough up the phlegm faster (in my opinion). I hope any of you like me try this "miracle pill", you won't be sorry!
