Flavor is not a problem at all (tastes a bit like honey) - we mix it in a small amount of juice to make it even easier to go down. Seems to be very effective at controlling a bladder / frequency issue for my 5 year old. The eyedropper is silly, however - if you are giving a teaspoonful, that is too many drops to calculate effectively. Instead we pour into a teaspoon, but then the sticky syrup tends to collect or drip down the side. Not a big deal - I still love the product.
