We offer this (without crinkle material) choice because some children with special needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorders may be over stimulated by the additional sound & tactile feel of the crinkle material.  Most children love it but you need to know your child's preferences.  We also offer two types of inserts for the balls.  Our standard insert is a strong, light weight latex balloon & that blows up easily by mouth (smaller sizes) or with a pump (recommended for the 30 inch size).   These balloons are strong & ultra-light.  We also over the option of a poly vinyl bladder insert instead of a balloon.  This is a great option for kids that have a latex allergy.  The bladder is a little heavier than the balloon, but it also much stronger.  You can choose the insert that best meets the needs of your child!
