I have been using Playtex since I started using tampons 14 years ago. They were thin, smooth, and easy to insert. At first I used the scented (pink) "Slim-fits" ones, but my flow got heavier, and I also heard scented tampons can put you at risk of infection, so I switched to these Unscented Gentle Glides. They are not much thicker than the Slim-Fits, so they aren't uncomfortable overall, although at times I feel like they sort of "drop" a little lower so that I can almost feel them and have to give 'em a little push back in/re-adjust. Also the applicator can pinch against my skin when inserting. But they are definitely easier to insert than the cardboard Tampax I struggled with, and it's very hard to find an unscented, applicator tampon these days. The Super absorbency are perfect for my first 1-2 days (I have only leaked with a Regular maybe once, but sometimes I'd rather not chance it). All in all I am pretty satisfied with these, my old standby! Playtex, please don't stop making unscenteds!

These are my favorite tampons & I have been buying them for a couple of years now. I think that Gentle Glide tampons work extremely well with protection & I've rarely had leakage since I found them. I think that the price for this size box is great & don't consider it a horrible high price at all as some of the other reviewers have stated.. You wanna check out price of tampons look up Tampax Pearl tampons that come in a box of 18 & if you buy 2 of those (36 total for both boxes) you would be paying the same exact amount as you did as when you bought the Gentle Glide 36 count box.... It's worth the price.
I agree that it would be awesome if some companies would start giving us women 60 & 70 tampons in a box for the same price that we are paying now (because hello, it IS something that we do need) but I don't think its gonna happen in this lifetime. Gentle Glide is an excellent deal & they work great, I give them an A+. I'll keep buying them.

I like this product a lot. I use it for light days and I always wear a light days pad. They do tend to leak a bit, hence the 4 stars, not 5.But, they are very comfortable and very easy to put in. Both of my daughters were terrified to try tampons. Neither of them could insert them until they tried these. Now, after a few tries, they are old pros! I highly recommend these tampons as a first time tampon for young girls.

I agree with a previous post - this is my favorite tampon, but I thought for that price, that "36 ea" meant 36 of each size tampon in the multipak, not 36 altogether!!! I will never buy it again at that price.

Absolutely the worst tampon I have ever used! This tampons applicator kept breaking. And, it didn't stay in!
