I love this product. I used to be skeptical because I have oily skin but I use it now (I'm 31), primarily to remove makeup or when the weather is really cold/drying. It works great on removing mascara and leaves my skin feeling super soft afterwards. I like it so much better than makeup remover pads / oils and toners.

The trick is: you have to wash it off twice.

It can leave a very greasy residue if you use too much and/or don't wash it off properly. This is how I do it: With my makeup still on, I just use my fingers to scoop up about a teaspoon and rub in on my face to break up the makeup and splash with water. Follow up with a gentle cleanser (I use Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash) still using my fingers. I do that twice until its completely gone.

My skin feels soft AND clean. I used to use high end oils and cleansers but this works great for a fraction of the price and lasts twice as long. It doesn't leave me feeling dry, like toners and I never really worry about it being discontinued.

I love this stuff. I apply it to my face, neck and decollete, then wipe it off with a hot wet rag. I use a fresh clean white rag every time I wash so I can be sure I get all my eye makeup off. It feels better than oily eye makeup remover and makes my skin feel clean and moisturized. I admit, that on days where I sweat a lot or for whatever reason feel extra-dirty and oily, this stuff doesn't always do the trick, but on those days, I just follow up with a gentle cleanser and it works like a charm.

However, I don't know that it would be appropriate for yournger or acne prone skin. I'm 31, and I don't think this would have worked for me when I was 21. It would still be a great makeup remover, but it would likely need to be followed by an acne cleanser or an astringent.

I use tretinoin (retin-A) regularly, so needless to say, an ordinary cleanser would make my skin dry and flaky. I use Clinique's water dissolve cleanser, but I got tired of paying so much for a tube that only lasts a month, so I thought I would try ponds. What a mistake. It's gentle but it doesn't seem to wash off, so I think it makes all of my other products less effective. I will not be using this again; ugh, I was really hoping to find something good and affordable. Oh well.

my 101 yr old Grandmother always used Ponds and at 101 her skin was beautiful, everyone commented and wanted to know what she used. After I used It I was very disappointed, my skin was dry and rough. I guess it has been new and improved and not for the best either.

This product is okay. It's not that thick, which is good for not fealing greasy, but it doesn't get 100% of eye makeup off. It's not BAD, but there are better products out there.

I've been removing my eye make-up with this since I was a teenager in the 70's. Tried others briefly when I couldn't find this. There is no fancy make-up remover that can compare to this basic product. esp. for the price. Never irritates my sensitive skin either. I would never purchase anything else.

This product is pretty good during summer. My children's skin was being admired in their school when I started applying the cream to their bodies when the summer started. Good job.
