When I started wearing make up, she insisted that I begin with Pond's Cold Cream to remove my make up at night. Over the years I have tried other products. Nothing else works as well or as simply as this. I have come back to this product because I now have very sensitive skin (the old aging bugaboo) and I needed something that I can trust. Frankly, smearing this stuff all over my eyes is messy and leaves my skin feeling greasy. It also made the eye makeup get inside my eyes because I had to rub it in order to remove the makeup. Uhh, no thank you. It works, but I'm not a fan of it. I'm going back to my old eye makeup remover once I use this cheap junk up. Pros

Comments about Pond's Cold Cream The Cool Classic, 3.5 oz: I use this every night to remove makeup. I rub it all over my face for a few minutes then I rinse off with a warm wash cloth. I then use a cream cleanser to remove any residue. This way has worked for me for quite a while now. Pros

It doesn't dry out skin like some removers..and it's gentle on skin and eyes. It also moisturizes w/out being greasy.....the skin around my eyes...to this day..is almost wrinkle free thanks to this. I've never been able to put on any makeup (foundation, powder, eye liner, mascara, ANYTHING) without this under it. If I don't, the makeup tears me up, won't go on smoothly, and is murder to take off. Now that I am older, it's even more vital to use this. It gives a less wrinkly surface, prevents tugging. Anyway, it's a miracle for what it does. It does protect against drying, and that's more than some fancy creams do. Look at the price. Especially HERE, where the price is more or less what it was decades ago in stores!!!! Unbelievable bargain here. When I turned 50, a friend's sister, cosmerologist, demanded to know what I use on my skin. She nearly fell down when I told her this is ALL I use. (Nowadays though, I use other stuff too, but this goes on last before makeup for reasons described above.) Pros

I use it at night to take off my makeup and then wipe it off with a damp washcloth. I rinse my face off in the shower too. It makes your skin soft, clean feeling, and moisturized. It seems to take off every bit of makeup too which is great. I love the smell too, it kind of smells like roses, but it is a bit strong. I will continue to use this great product! Pros

It gets off my makeup without being runny and burning my eyes and my skin feels so soft afterward, more than if I had used lotion. Still, it is a pain to get off with tissues and using a washcloth gets a little rough on the skin so that the moisturizing effects aren't as intense. Also, I wish it came in a bigger size.
