As a Michigan resident, I find this cream to be my savior during the harsh winter months. It relieves my dry skin and leaves it feeling baby soft. (For the summer months, I have found that Juice Organics brightening moisturizer works wonders for me). I use the Pond's cream after washing my face with Dove beauty bar. No harsh products, no acne creams and no derm appointments needed, so I swear by the Dove Beauty bar in conjuction with the Pond's cream during the cold months. This was a recommendation to my sister and I from our Mother who, along with our Grandmother, has used forever. Unfortunately it's not really the right face cream for me. I have combination skin that can be a little dry or a little oily, and this was just too greasy for me. I definitely cannot use it during the day, but it's fine as a night cream. It absorbs the best after a shower or scrubbing your face, but it really doesn't ever fully absorb (for me); it always feels a little filmy and greasy. Also, after using it for about a week it started to cause little breakouts. Granted, I can be prone to acne, but my face had been nice and clear for quite some time before using this. But I will say I wake up in the morning with very soft skin, which is nice. I think this would be a great face cream for someone with dry to very dry skin that is not prone to breakouts. I wish it worked better for me, and I will use it now and then, but I wouldn't buy it again. Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz: I use Pond's around the eye area, after I wash my face, to remove any remaining eye make-up and to moisturize the skin near my eyes. It's so gentle; I have sensitive skin and have never had any problem with Pond's. Although I generally prefer fragrance-free products, I don't mind the scent of Pond's (granted, I would probably like it even better with less or no scent). Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz: This product is fantastic! And, honestly, I'm shocked that I think so. Normally, I spend $200 on my facial moisturizer (yes, you read that correctly! $200!) Instead, for about $4 I found something that I think that I like better. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 1/7/2012 Greasy but good Pros

Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz: I originally bought this to mix with my foundation to make it my own tinted moisturizer, but it was far too greasy. However I still really like this product and use it on dry spots on my face or at night time when my face needs some hydrating. Doesn't make you break out even if it is a little greasy, which is good! Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz: I bought this during the winter when I need some serious moisture, and this is one of the cheapest moisturizers you can buy. Although it is moisturizing (it only does so for a few hours) The smell is so strong, irritating and unpleasant to me that it's not worth using at all. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz: I usually love Pond's products but was in no way impressed by this Dry Skin Cream. I have very dry, flaky skin and wanted a thicker cream for nighttime use so I bought this hoping I would like it. I tried it for nearly two weeks but had to stop as it broke me out really bad on my cheeks, which left scars. Initially while using this product I noticed it had a greasier consistency that just sat on top of my skin (my boyfriend even commented how I look "shiny"), not cool! It also has a strong scent which I didn't care for. Overall, not excited about this product and will not be repurchasing. Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz: My mother uses this product. She's 90 yrs young and has skin that is youthful, supple, and without wrinkles. We attribute this to her use of Ponds Dry Skin Cream. Everyone comments on it because it's true. Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz: Just don't use too much--concentrate on driest areas first. I use this mostly at bedtime or after a shower and I use Pond's cleansing towelettes first. Comments about Pond's Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz: Unlike many new face products, this one does the job! For me, it's too much in summer but in the winter months, most moisturizers just disappear in minutes, so I use this old standby all winter long on my neck especially and my cheeks too.
