This product is fantastic! And, honestly, I'm shocked that I think so. Normally, I spend $200 on my facial moisturizer (yes, you read that correctly! $200!) Instead, for about $4 I found something that I think that I like better.

My skin: I am in my 40s and still suffer from acne. I have a heck of a time. Not only do I have acne, but I'm getting old[er] and need moisture. It's a tough combination. This product moisturizes beautifully AND does not clog my pores or inflame my acne. Amazing! My skin looks and feels wonderful.

I concur with other reviews that the smell is awful! (Come on, Pond's! Please make an unscented version.) However, to save $196 and to get a great product, I'm living with the smell.

I stumbled on to this product a bit by accident. My delivery of my $200 product got lost in the mail. I was out entirely, and my skin was parched. I had a friend staying with me, and she offered me her moisturizer - Pond's Dry Skin Creme. I was desperate! So I used it. Nirvana (other than the smell)!

I do highly recommend this.

I bought this cream because of the colder weather and because it was so highly rated. Unfortunately it's not really the right face cream for me. I have combination skin that can be a little dry or a little oily, and this was just too greasy for me. I definitely cannot use it during the day, but it's fine as a night cream. It absorbs the best after a shower or scrubbing your face, but it really doesn't ever fully absorb (for me); it always feels a little filmy and greasy. Also, after using it for about a week it started to cause little breakouts. Granted, I can be prone to acne, but my face had been nice and clear for quite some time before using this. But I will say I wake up in the morning with very soft skin, which is nice. I think this would be a great face cream for someone with dry to very dry skin that is not prone to breakouts. I wish it worked better for me, and I will use it now and then, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Comments about POND'S Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz:

I have purchased SO many products for my dry skin - ranging in every price from very affordable to very expensive - with no luck. They never moisturized enough - most were too thin and made my skin feel not much better than before I put it on. They all ended up in the big Useless Face Lotion Graveyard. I saw this on the grocery store shelf for a very reasonable price and thought, "Why not?" The first time I tried it, I knew I had found the right face lotion for me! I wear it year-round, even during the day. Another thing I love about it is that there is no SPF in it. I hate the smell and feel of any SPF in my face products. I'll put on my own if I want to, but I don't like it being forced upon me in every single daytime lotion out there! This has never made me break out and it doesn't feel greasy on a hot day. I can't say enough good things about it. I have FINALLY found something that my face loves, and I'll never use anything else!

Comments about POND'S Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz:

This is the very first moisturizer that actually works for me since forever!! I've never actually have any problem with dry skin (my skin is usually oily fyi), but after moving to a dryer climate, it kept bugging me ever since. I've tried numerous moisturizers but this is the only thing that could keep the flaky skin and cracks from looking so obvious once I wore my BB cream or powder, by actually doing its job.

The only major downside of this thing js just that it'll become real greasy of you either put too much on or you didn't spread it out evenly and leave it to seep in before putting anything else on your face.

Besides that, its a total must have. Thumbs up for POND'S! I'm so going to be your life-long fan!

I have been itching severly since furnace was turned on. Could hardly sleep for itching. I used a long handeld application brush to apply a skin moisterizer. Still itched until welts appeared. Decided to try Pond's face cream for dry skin. .Itching stopped at once. I now apply the cream on body each time I bathe. Use along handeld brush to do this. What a relief.

Comments about POND'S Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz:

I thought I would give this a try because it is cheap. I really like how far you can stretch this stuff. I only use a small dab for my entire face but I notice it leaves my face feeling a little greasy near my hairline. My skin is normally fine but lately since using this I've been getting pimples. I looked at the ingredients and saw that it has mineral oil in it which is not good for your skin. It will only mask the problems temporarily and suffocate your skin. I will probably use the rest of it but I will not buy this again.

Comments about POND'S Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz:

I found Pond's in my teens but I spent time years ago trying to find some other product instead of Ponds. I ended up going back to it and didn't stray for years. Now in my 50's I thought maybe I should be using other brands with firming or tightening properties. OMG did my face break out and misbehave! I went RIGHT back to Ponds and this time I will never stray again. Maybe I have more than just genes to thank for smooth skin and no wrinkles at 55! Those with combination skin should go light on oily areas and heavier on dry areas. Works for me.

Comments about POND'S Dry Skin Cream, 3.9 oz:

I use Pond's around the eye area, after I wash my face, to remove any remaining eye make-up and to moisturize the skin near my eyes. It's so gentle; I have sensitive skin and have never had any problem with Pond's. Although I generally prefer fragrance-free products, I don't mind the scent of Pond's (granted, I would probably like it even better with less or no scent).

I originally bought this to mix with my foundation to make it my own tinted moisturizer, but it was far too greasy. However I still really like this product and use it on dry spots on my face or at night time when my face needs some hydrating. Doesn't make you break out even if it is a little greasy, which is good!

I bought this during the winter when I need some serious moisture, and this is one of the cheapest moisturizers you can buy. Although it is moisturizing (it only does so for a few hours) The smell is so strong, irritating and unpleasant to me that it's not worth using at all.

I usually love Pond's products but was in no way impressed by this Dry Skin Cream. I have very dry, flaky skin and wanted a thicker cream for nighttime use so I bought this hoping I would like it. I tried it for nearly two weeks but had to stop as it broke me out really bad on my cheeks, which left scars. Initially while using this product I noticed it had a greasier consistency that just sat on top of my skin (my boyfriend even commented how I look "shiny"), not cool! It also has a strong scent which I didn't care for. Overall, not excited about this product and will not be repurchasing.
