The product is called Cold Cream - therefore do not use hot water, warm water or toner to remove it - as it will only make your face greasy. The best way to remove is with a tissue or soft cloth - cleanser can be used after product is wiped off. A small amount goes a long way - I place a small dab on my face, work it in and wipe gently with a dry cloth. Leaves my skin soft, supple and removes all makeup like magic. I've been told by professionals that my skin is in great condition. The smell always brings me back to my childhood - you either like it or hate it. Doesn't make it bad for everyone. When used as recommended this is a great product!

I have been searching for a replacement for my long standby, Clinique Extremely Gentle Cleansing Cream, which has been discontinued, and finally I have found something that comes close in terms of removing mascara and leaving lashes and eye area moisturized and ready for the next day's application of mascara. Other make-up removers leave lashes and surrounding area too dry. This works very well.

Because of all the positive reviews I thought I would give it a try, well I regret it. I have not owned many makeup removers, but I know for a fact you do not need to use a GOOD makeup remover more than once or twice to get all of your makeup off. I had to use this 3 times in a row and it still didn't remove all of my makeup. If it has trouble removing just eyeliner, mascara, blush, and lipstick, I doubt it does a good job of removing a full face of makeup. Not only does it do a poor job, but it leaves a thick greasy residue on my face. Just wiping my face wouldn't get it all off, so I had to wash my face with a very sudsy soap. It took 3 times washing my face and scrubbing it with a wash cloth just to get this gunk off. I guess I could say this would be great for people with very dry and sensitive skin that can take all that grease, but because of how ineffective it is I'm not going to. My skin is a little on the dry side and it was still way too greasy for me.

I use this classic cold cream to remove makeup and it is a great product. I like the smell. It always works. I wash my face after using it and my skin feels smooth, clean, and soft. Then I use a different product for overnight moisturizing, but if the day or night comes when I can use Pond's, I will. My skin loves the ingredients in this product, so I hope the manufacturer doesn't change it. It's still a great classic.

Great for removing eye make-up. Liquid removers irritate my skin. Pond's come right off with kleenex, love it. Highly recommend and reasonably priced. This tub lasts a long time.

After a night of rampaging through town as Prickles The KLOWN I go for my big fat jar of Cold Cream. I apply a couple healthy gobs to my face and it lifts all of the makeup. I then take dry paper towels and Vuala!!!! The paint wipes right off in a couple passes. A great product Ponds. I've been using it for years!
