Comments about PregnancyPlus Prenatal Multivitamin, 60 ea: Small and easy to swallow with no after taste. I take these with food at night and have had no problems with digestion. I have a very sensitive stomach and this has been the only vitamin I have been able to take. I am so happy to finally find a product that is easy to swallow as so many of these are huge and leave me feeling very sick. I highly recommend this product! Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about PregnancyPlus Prenatal Multivitamin, 60 ea: This is one of the few prenatal vitamins reviewed by ConsumerLab. They check vitamins to make sure they contain the stated amount of nutrients and to make sure they aren't contaminated with heavy metals such as lead. I also like that these vitamins don't have food coloring. Pros

Comments about PregnancyPlus Prenatal Multivitamin, 60 ea: I am a bit of a healthnut, so when I got pregnant I wanted to play it safe and avoid additives, megadosing, and extra herbs that haven't been proven safe for pregnancy. So I had the Dr prescribe me a multi, assuming that it would have the safest doses. It did & included just the necessary vitamins & minerals, but it had several additives including some controversial colors (yellow # 5- linked to ADHD & red # 40-banned in some countries) so I decided to find my own. After hours of internet searching I finally found this pill. It includes only the necessary ingredients in the appropriate doses that correlated with what my prescription had as well as the recommendations on WebMD and it leaves out the unnecessary additives & preservatives. The only downfalls are that it contains a little selenium, which is not regularly recommended. However, it's a small amount. Also, it doesn't contain enough B-vitamins which are important for pregnancy. These are very minimal in this pill, so I am adding an additional B-12 & 6. It's also low in calcium, which I like, because I take separate calcium anyway to ensure maximum absorption (taken at a separate time). All the other pills I came across either had additives, lesser quality ingredients (such as D-2 instead of D-3), or were natural but added skeptical herbs, controversial vitamins and minerals or had too high of doses. This is the most basic one I could find, so I like it. It's also small & easy to swallow. You only need 1 pill a day & it has not taste. Hope this helps. Displaying reviews 1-6 ![]() |
