It's great shampoo...not so great for other things. Keep the tweezers on stand by. Rougher than 2 grit sand paper on sensitive areas...but for hair....cant beat it with two switches and a frying pan.

Prell shampoo is a old school shampoo that I am happy that it is still on the market. In the 50's and 60's Prell was used on hair to get rid of the build up that people had on their hair due to hair products such as heavy hair sprays. In the day people would have their hair styled and then not wash it and Prell would be used to lift the buildup off and then the person could get their hair set again.
As time moved on Prell became an everyday product that once was made by Proctor and Gamble then sold to Presitge. Prell is a great shampoo if your hair is oily, or you use a great deal of products. It's economical. a quarter size works on most hair mid hair lengths. Prell leaves your hair clean.
Since Prell does lift the prespiration or the buildup it can dry your hair, a good conditioner with it helps. I only use it to clarify and get rid of build up that conditoners have on my hair.
The shampoo lathers nicely. If you dont wash your hair everyday Prell is the shampoo for you.

I swim everyday and use this shampoo to wash out the chlorine. It has a very rich lather and a clean smell. The only con is that I wish they had a conditioner to go along with the shampoo.

I am pregnant and started to get very oily hair. It was pretty gross and from reading reviews this was the best shampoo to help control the oil. I was skeptical at first since this was so cheap, but it definitely helped! I'm so glad I found out about it. The only thing is, you might not want to use this on a daily basis because it can dry out your hair. I would switch shampoos every few days.

For the price point, this is an excellent value. The shampoo is gentle, color safe, lathers well and doesn't contain any SLS. It's not fancy and doesn't have a special smell, but it does the job better than most I've tried.

This shampoo cleans well and it smells good. It adds volume and shime to your hair. Rinses quickly and completely. What more can you ask. I like it a lot. I will buy it again.

I buy this for my son, who is starting that boy-to-man phase, which is difficult to keep clean and pleasant-smelling. He just wanted shampoo that smelled nice, and I just wanted his hair to be clean. Prell is basic, gender neutral, decent priced, well fragranced, effective.
