Stay away from this stuff. I am so grateful I took this over the weekend for the first time because it KNOCKED ME OUT FOR FOUR HOURS! I could not keep my eyes open, I could not move, I just laid on top of my bed unable to regain my energy. The worst part is that it did nothing for my back pain - which was the purpose of my taking it.

I typically use Midol, but they did not have any in the store and I thought I would give this a try because I was desperate. I am throwing it away. It is better to take nothing than to take this. Midol works fast and it is incredibly effective - not to mention I don't pass out for hours after taking it.

The only benefit I can see of Premsyn is that it will help you sleep at night - worked better than any sleeping pill I ever tried, but unfortunately I did not want to be sleeping all morning.

All you have to do it try it once. You'll be using it until you hit Menopause; maybe even after to ease that tension and irritability that goes with it.

I love this product and I am so glad to find it available here at Drugstore.com. I was diagnosed several years ago with PMDD, which is SEVERE PMS. The dr. then put me on paxil, but after I take it for a while I no longer feel any kind of emotion at all. (which is not that fun) So when I gave this a try I was amazed at how it helps all of my PMS/PMDD issues. As others have stated some people complain of fatigue, I did not have that problem. So you just have to be careful of when you take it for the first time, in order to see how sensitive you may be to it, as with any new medication. I cannot express the joy of being able to take an all natural product and be a better, kinder mom and person to the people around me. As others have stated my family can tell when its time for my "happy pills" LOL. Please if you are in need of help dealing with your monthly friend, please give this a try!! It can change your world and make that time a lot easier!! God bless!!

I was experiencing the absolute worst PMS that I've had in months- literally, all someone in my household had to do was walk by my room (not even speaking or wanting anything from me, mind you), and I was ready to throttle them. As I'm normally pretty easygoing, and had a normal day -nothing upsetting happened- this was crazy. I'd never tried these before. I'm very used to strong meds, being a daily Excedrin user for many years (though not anymore), and I now take a lot of stuff for fibromyalgia- have been doing that for years. Even Valium wasn't making me chill out yesterday. Yet this did. I expected this stuff to be worthless. I'm absolutely stunned by how the ingredients in this can work so well. An OTC medicine that works better than all my Rx's put together??? But it's true. I was in a good mood when I went to bed, felt rested & refreshed after five hours of sleep (I'm normally a nine-hours-of-sleep-a-night girl), and still felt happy this morning when I got up. I also noticed that I was able to breathe through my nose normally & easily when I was falling asleep. That is highly unusual, as I usually can't get enough air unless I sleep w/ my mouth open, because of chronic sinusitis & bronchitis (thank you, three bouts of pneumonia...) Again, I'm just absolutely gobsmacked at what this medicine is doing. I only hope it continues to work this well. I took two more this morning & find I'm doing my chores & work w/ efficiency, less pain & a better disposition than I've had in years. Whoa. Can't say it makes me drowsy, though maybe someone w/ less tolerance to meds might feel that way. GREAT STUFF!!!

Some months my pms is worse than others so I have been searching for something that could help. My main symptoms are usually irritability and water retention. I purchased this last month but had no pms so I held off on trying it. Well last night I felt the symptoms coming on, and immediately took two of these. I wish I would have found this product sooner!!!! I can't even believe what a difference I felt in an hour's time. It completely took the edge off. I felt relaxed and happy, and after feeling like I was retaining glass after glass of water all day without having to use the bathroom, I felt an immediate difference in my bloating. I took this at about 7pm, so the only problem I can think of is I had to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom...which I didn't mind because I was so thrilled it was working! The diuretic in this worked like magic for me, and since I find that to be the worst symptom of pms for me, I couldn't be happier. The only thing that I wish was different is the size of the pills. They are pretty big and not that easy for me to swallow since they're not coated. That would never stop me from taking this though! I probably wouldn't take this in the morning since it almost relaxes you too much, but after work, I will be taking 2 more of these today. I don't know how long this stuff stays in your system, but I still feel great this morning, no irritability and still using the restroom to get rid of that water :-) This is a miracle product for me and I don't ever want to be without it! Thank you so much Premsyn for making a product that truly helps women!!!

I've been using this forever too. I've tried all the others out there and I'll never go back after finding this product.

It works on all my menstrual symptoms: headache, backache, cramps, bloating, bitchiness...you name it. I even take it when I have a really bad headache non-period time - my dad is convinced and buys it for his backaches, lol!

It can make you sleepy, if I take this before bed, I sleep really well. But it's not like it made me fall asleep at work or while I was driving.

I have endometriosis and I have SEVERE cramps and this is THE ONLY thing that works (besides prescription drugs with gnarly side effects).

LOVE IT!

I've been using this for as long as I can remember. It definitely helps with cramps, but I am mostly happy that it helps with the emotional symptoms I get right before my period. My husband is happy about that too! If I can remember to take it ahead of time, it works wonders. If I take it during the day I start by taking 1/2 tablet, sometimes I can take one tablet during the day and not get sleepy, but I only do that if I'm super crabby or depressed. (I'm very sensitive to drugs that have drowsiness as a side-effect, but 1/2-1 tablet usually doesn't bother me.) I tell every woman I know who has PMS to try this!

My daughter suffers from very severe back cramps and because she's in pain of course she has mood swings. When she first started her cycle 2 years ago, I gave her Teen Midol. That stopped working so I gave her extra-strength Midol. That only worked for two hours. I found this product at the local pharmacy and thought to have her try it. She loves it. She is no longer bed ridden the first two days of her period and just of course now, she's not moody. She hasn't suffered from drowsiness as others. Today, I ordered three boxes so that I won't run out anytime soon!! Thank-You Prymsyn!!!
