I realized this was a bad choice, and now I am trying to be more eco-friendly. This is a perfect solution for me. The plastic is recycled from yogurt cups, and the razor is not too expensive. And, happily, neither are the refills. Now I can feel better about throwing away less waste, and I don't have to spend a ton of money. As for how they work, I would say they are pretty standard. They are better than cheap disposables, but maybe not as good as the fancy ones. I have cut myself a couple times, but I am clumsy like that, and it was nothing too major. My advice would be to use a good cream that really lubricates the skin, and not try to push these too far to get too many uses out of them. I find I get 2-3 uses out of each refill, which is normal for me, but I shave a lot. There are some bold color choices. My partner and I both bought one at the same time. The first thing we noticed is that they were awkward to hold and weren't comfortable in the hand. On the third use we both were coming away with multiple cuts and nicks. We have since replaced the blade with Gilette blades and we are both much happier. I really liked the size of the head of this razor so much better than any razor including the reusables because it has a smaller head so it makes it much easier to shave underarms, knees, etc. Pros

It's not like some other big name brands with tons of moisturizing strips and frills and a pivoting head or anything. But if you want something earth-friendly that does what you need it to do, it's perfectly fine. I buy the refills on this site every other month and even the cost of the razor + refills is less than a particular big name brand of razor.

Comments about Preserve Triple Razor, 1 ea: I had gotten the WORST razor burn from another blade that I used once! I am still paying for it on my underarms, but these blades not only shave close, but are very gentle even in sensitive areas.
