I feel compelled to write a review because the manufacturer, right in step w/ every other product that has worked for me, are discontinuing this product. I think the inhaler is still being sold. I've had asthma for all of my childhood (nearly fatal at one point) and sporadically through my adult years. I love this product because once I feel tightness, normally in the spring/early summer, I can take only HALF a tablet and it opens my bronchii. I have an emergency albuterol inhaler but don't use it except in an emergency b/c it makes me shake, and these at 1/2 or even one at a time do not. These tablets even seem to loosen mucous in my sinuses, which allows for drainage. I stocked up on these at another retailer at a good price but once they're gone it's on the hunt for similar tabs :-(

I use the product for asthma/copd reasons. It works great for those occasional in between times when my prescribed medications are not working. Things that are not so great about it is the fact that it is so hard to find anymore [*] have to order the medicine online because no drug store will carry it in this area [*]

Ive used Bronchaid for years, tried this recently when Drugstore.com changed over to primatine. Doesn't do it for me, I'll shop elsewhere for a product that works

Primetene works as well as my prescription medications for asthma, without the side effects. This is the first winter in years that I have not had to be put on steroids. I make sure I am well stocked on this product. DrugStore.com seems to be the only place I can buy it.

This product should be used on a daily basis to control intermittent asthma. You may notice some weight loss. Subsequently, you will need to drink more water and eat a healthy diet. Most of the time one pill per day works for an entire day. However, there are days, when the air is "heavy", and I need to take a second pill in order to open up my lungs. I have been using this medication for about 9 months and am exttremely happy with it. You will need to adjust the dosage to your individual needs. Overdosing can make you feel as if you are steadily jogging. I found that one pill per day opens my lungs without the "jogging" feeling. Please be aware that your asthma and allergy doctor may not like you taking this medication in lieu of their prescriptions. Primatene works for me and I and going to keep using it on a daily basis.

i bought this to use for my seasonal allergies. i seen where a few people said it worked great for them when other things such as benadryl and claritin failed them. it helps with phlegm, and chest congestion. i can also breathe much easier when using this product.

My dad has used primatene mist for years and loves it. I thought since primatene mist was being taken off the market that we could try the tablets only to find out they were being regulated and very difficult to buy/ find. If anyone else is in the same boat please sign the petition to help get primatene mist back on the market. http://www.primatenetablets.com/
