After my digital thermometer's battery died, and found it would be $5 for a local replacement, I decided to replace the whole thing.At the [$] price for this thermometer I had some doubts, but being cheap I decided what the heck and ordered two.I was not disappointed.For an inexpensive thermometer the quality seems really good.Temperature readings were within 30 seconds and compared favorably with two other mercury thermometers.And with the flexible probe I could read the numbers without taking it out of my mouth.The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I'm waiting t see what the battery life is like.
