I have severe pms and have tried everything from prescriptions to over the counter. Nothing makes my pms go totally away, but this product helps immensely. I can tell when it starts wearing off right away, so I know its working.

I've been using this for years. It's great to have on hand at work for those moments when you're overcome by cramps in the first day of your period. This product doesn't contain caffeine, which is another reason I choose it over others. (If I feel like I need caffeine, I'll get a coffee.) It's also great to have around for nights when you can't fall asleep (because of cramps or any other reason). It relaxes you enough to allow you to drift off, but doesn't knock you out like a sleeping pill would, or make it difficult to get up in the morning.

Pamprin is the only one that works for me- so far. As far as PMS or period medicine, there are really only 2 choices- either Midol, which makes me extremely nervous, or Pamprin, which puts me to sleep. I usually only take it at night or if I'm at home on the weekend. I take it when I'm PMSing as well. It really does the job. They need to market it in Europe as well, because if you have bad cramps, it really works.

I never considered myself to have horrible cramps, so I figured these would take care of it, no problem...wrong. I take 2, I get about 5 minutes of relief from my cramps, and then the pain is back. These might help my other symptoms, but certainly not cramps.

I used to be an avid user of Midol, until my cousin told me about Pamprin, and I have been using this ever since. I get horrible bloating during the first few days of my period, and this makes it go away completely. The only problematic thing that I found is that it makes me tired, but the relief it gives me is worth the 5 stars!

I started using Pamprin for menstrual pain and irritability, and it worked really well for me for both. I recommended it to my pharmacist for ANY irritability, and she was glad to hear it. I'm a few years past menopause, and I still think it's better than Valium for settling the jitters or any emotional overload as well as pain. When I offered some to a miserable co-worker, having bad cramps and being very irritable, she said she was able to go right to sleep and felt a lot better. Great OTC drug!
