Indications
Temporarily relieves minor aches and pains due to headache, backache, the common cold, menstrual cramps, muscular aches, arthritis, toothache. Temporarily reduces fever.
Warnings
Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcohol drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain reliever/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
Do not use with any other product containing acetaminophen.
Stop use and ask a doctor if
new symptoms occur
redness or swelling is present
pain gets worse or lasts for more than 10 days
fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.

I use Tylenol to help me get to sleep when muscle pain is keeping me awake. One time I had Tylenol in the hospital for severe pain in my lungs -- it it took the edge off better than anything else they had. But it's also very important to me that these tablets contain no dye. Since, like a growing number of people in the US, I am allergic to many dyes, it's very important for me to use products that contain no dye, to avoid a serious reaction.

The first two boxes I bought ([...]) were on the Tylenol Recall List. Had to order another box[...].I prefer "Extra Strength" tablets, but they have been discontinued (as are most GOOD products). These "regular-strength" are not available in any local stores in my area or surrounding counties.Only Caplets, Gel-Caps, etc are now available in stores. If you check the (inert) ingredients there are tons more in the available types of Tylenol than in just the 'tablets', which have minimal inert items. The problem for those of us who used "Extra-Strentgh" tablets is we have to take more tablets than prescribed to get the same dosage, and even then it is a little less than what two extra-strength were. They work well enough, but you have to carry twice as much in your purse or for traveling.If you only use 'regular strength', these work well and are free of excess ingredients, but you have to SEARCH for them and like all Tylenol products, you have to watch RECALLS like a hawk.

Adults and Children 12 years and older: Take two tablets every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 12 tablets in any 24 hours, Do not use for more than 10 days unless directed by a doctor.
Children 6-11 years: Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms last. Do not take more than 5 tablets in 24 hours. Do mor use for more than 5 days unless directed by a doctor.
Children under 6 years: Do not use this adult product in children under 6 years of age; this will provide more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause liver damage.
