This stuff is amazing! I rub it on my knees and ankles after running, soothes the pain almost immediately. It soaks in so you don't make a mess of your clothes, and the smell is not over powering. Great for colds and whenever you need a little extra to fall asleep. This stuff is a cure all.

Besides everything listed in these reviews that it works on, I've discovered it also works to eliminate mild dandruff, itchy scalp and dry, brittle nails! I say Mentholatum is a first-aid kit in a jar!

This stuff has so many wonderful uses! I use it on my lips every night to avoid chapped lips. I love the minty feel. It also helps moisturize skin anywhere, like dry, cracked hands or feet. I put it on small cuts, like paper cuts to help heal it fast overnight. This stuff is also great when you have a cold, it sooths the skin around your nose, and your nasal passages, helping you breathe, without an overpowering smell/vapor like Vick's Vaporub. My kids now love to use it too. I love Mentholatum!

I have a 3 oz container I have been regularly using for 16 years solely for soothing my chapped lips. I also use it to smooth down my eyebrows. I know it's gross that I've been using the same jar for 16 years (only 2/3 way through!), but it remains just as effective as day 1! I also have eczema, and putting mentholatum on it feels so tingly and soothing, and then my skin doesn't feel as itchy for the rest of the day.

I use this product on myself and my children when we have coughing and congestion due to a cold. I also use it at night on my lips as chapstick. My lips are never chapped! It also relieves minor muscle aches and pains;(I only use it for that at night because smells like menthol).

This product has been around for years! My mother used it and I was born in the 1930s. When sinus problems start, placing a little on upper lip to inhale helps immensely. Placing some on face before showering helps same problem. My mother also put some on my chest, placed how towels over it to reliee chest congestion. Old remedies can be the best and least costly!
