I am a 77 year old retired Army Sergeant Major that had a cough for about nine years. Numerous MDs to include lung specialists were not able to do much. With massive doses of antibodies it would clear up in about seven days then in a week the cough would be back, especially at night. Got an email about rubbing the bottom or the feet about two years ago. It worked great.

I bought this because I had heard it was excellent for treating fungal infections. I used it on my feet when I had the beginning of a problem, and it eliminated it in one use! It also feels great on, and I prefer it to applying conventional greasy anti-fungals to my feet. I've also heard it cures nail infections. I can't validate that claim from personal experience, only that it got rid of my athlete's foot.

This is a standard on my bedside table since I've suffered from allergies and upper respiratory troubles since I was a child. Whenever I start to have clogged sinuses from a cold or allergy a small swipe of Vaporub on my upper lip usually clears me up enough to let me drop off to sleep. While the relief isn't continuous for the entire night, or good enough to break through a really bad cold, this has gotten me through so many years of allergies the smell is synonymous with comfort in my mind.

DO NOT put it on your feet. I mean you can if you want to but it doesnt work. I have had a night cough for days now. I tried it all night and all I did was cough. Its just something that may work for some and not for others. But it was a waste of my time. I still cant sleep. I cough and vomit all night. Nothing is working... I was in and out of the hospital with my Son (who is 6) twice today for very high fevers, swelling eyes, and a rash that keeps spreading. On top of all of that he has a bad cough. He has had this for 2-3 weeks now. The doctors finally prescribed something, but I can't fill it until the morning. After all of this I am told by a friend to try the VICKS on the bottom of the feet and put socks over it. IT WORKS!! I haven't heard one cough out of him since I put him to bed.
