I adjust the dosage as needed, and since I suffer from constipation, I take at least a full glass of water with a dose.
I also take Equalactin in combination the Digestive Advantage IBS. These and regular doses of plain Metamucil can keep me symptom free. Now if managing stress were that easy!
I've tried Align, but ended up with bad side effects after a promising start.
Now I don't want to be without Equalactin and hope the manufacturer continues to offer it.

Product has changed. Lot 10890 exp 07/2013 also contains maltodextrin and sucralose and now is a gritty texture. I am not getting the same relief with the new formula. Possibly absorption is changed. Ingredients list on the website needs to be updated.
I am very distressed that this product has changed and does not seem to work the same for me. I had used the previous formula on a daily basis for over 10 years.

As soon as I get some cramping I know something I ate isn't agreeing with me so I take the Equalactin immediately. I seldom have to take another couple tablets to stop the diarrhea. It's great for constipation also since it detects the water level in your bowel. Not pleasant to talk about but true-lol.

We have used this very successfully for relief of diarrhea symptoms. It works well, is easy to take, chew, and swallow. It doesn't taste bad. Our only trouble is that we cannot find it locally very easily and have had to purchase it from Drugstore.com. It is inexpensive and has been quite effective for us.
