I used this product 20 some years ago and could not find it in the stores anymore. It works fast, easy to use. It is the only non-prescription drug you can take to help with irritible bowel syndrome. I have suffered on and off with this for over 30 years and when I have flareups or are travelling this is the best . Do not stop making it .......... [...]........ Great !!!

Great for diahrrea, but I use it in conjunction with Digestive Advantage for control of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) symptoms. I use 2 tablets before a meal that may trigger an attack.

My husband has taken 2 tablets twice daily (with physician's approval) for a couple years now. It has made a noticable improvement in his IBS. If he misses a couple doses, the cramping and diareah return with a vengence. Our physician has started recommending it to other patients with similar symptoms.

Take 1 or 2 of these tablets with at least 8 oz of water. Chew them well and drink the water as fast as you can and it will stop IBS attacks in their track. If 2 are not enough, take another 2 and drink another large glass of water. They are just calcium and fiber, but whatever the combination is, it works!

What I like best about this product is that it helps the stomach distress that often accompanies IBS flare-ups. I find it also calms down bowel inflammation AND works for IBS-D and IBS-C. A triple header here! I adjust the dosage as needed, and since I suffer from constipation, I take at least a full glass of water with a dose. I also take Equalactin in combination the Digestive Advantage IBS. These and regular doses of plain Metamucil can keep me symptom free. Now if managing stress were that easy! I've tried Align, but ended up with bad side effects after a promising start. Now I don't want to be without Equalactin and hope the manufacturer continues to offer it.

Equalactin is great for any kind of bowel distress--I am lactose intolerant and if I forget my lactose pills, I can take Equalactin later and it helps a lot. It works to regulate water level in the bowel, so it helps for both diarrhea AND constipation (drink large glass of water 5 minutes after chewing two tablets at night). I have used it for nearly 20 years.
