My friend sent me to a General Store 4 years ago to buy some Mothers Friend (MF) for my pregnancy. She had three boys and had no stretch marks and she swore by the product. I have heard stretch marks are hereditary and I already had them from adolescence (gain and loss of weight) on my calves and rear. SO I KNOW I GET STREACH MARKS. Aside from that my mother and sister have them. Well I purchased the product and experimented by using coco butter lotion and coco butter soup on my breast. I used MF on my abdomen, rear and thighs. As a result I have light stretch marks on my breast but NO stretch marks on my stomach or anywhere I used MF! I was amazed and I have raved about MF ever since! The drug store has closed and I am online looking for MF because I am pregnant again. MF works; who cares if it dries you out, that is what lotion is for. I'm almost 7 months pregnant and still no stretchmarks. My grandmother used this 57 years ago and said it worked like a charm. If you don't like the oiliness of it, add a little bit of regular lotion to it and it'll tame it down a bit. I use it at about a 50/50 ratio and it's still oily but it works great. Jury's still out on post partum stretchmarks... ;)

This product is so amazing. Everyone has their own opinion but you can't use it for 2 days or even 2 months and expect miracles. You have to use it throughout pregnancy to see the results. My Granny, Mom, and 2 sisters used it and they have not one stretch mark. I'm pregnant with my first baby and the one place left in town that sold it no longer has it. I used this lotion on the advice of my mother-in-law who used it for 3 pregnancies, with no stretch marks. I used it every day and had NO stretch marks on tummy or chest. I am ordering a few bottles tonight to use in this current pregnancy.

I thought this was going to be lotion. It's not, its oil. Tonight was the first time I used it. Not sure if I like it yet. It doesn't smell very good and leaves an oily feel. I definitely can only use this at night.
