This is the worst mascara I've tried. I have NO idea why this is the #1 mascara. I would guess the price... but Revlon and Cover Girl have similarly priced mascaras that are better than this. Great Lash does not go on smoothly, irritates my eyes, clumps, flakes and makes my lashes look bad. I have nothing good to say about it.

I tried this in the late 70's and it irrited my eyes so much, but I thought it was because I was working 3rd shift (nights) for the first time and was just tired. My lids were red and my eyes burned a lot. I stopped using it and was fine. Just recently I thought I'd give it another try -- same deal. Tired-looking burning eyes - and it smudges by the end of the day only making the irritation worse. Won't make the same mistake again!

I'm told I look 30 but am 51 years old. I've tried every mascara made and I always go back to this one. Also, I've been removing my eye makeup with Johnson's Baby Shampoo for 35 years. Of course I do use sunscreen and other facial products but the reason that I use this mascara is because it looks great on but removes easily. I don't have to pull or rub my eyes but yet if I cry, etc. this mascara doesn't easily run. This has been a fantastic product for many, many years.

Don't bother buying it...IT SUCKS!!!

After hearing so many good reviews about this product, I decided to try it. But I was very unimpressed by it. It didn't provide any sort of volume and didn't make my eyes look any different without mascara. I really don't think it's worth the investment. I generally prefer Revlon's mascaras.

I have natrually long lashes that are very light. So I just want something to make them darker. Since this is supposed to be the number one mascara in America and everything, I figured I would get some. I don't know why this is the number one mascara in America at the moment, because it is the worst mascara I have ever used. It clumps like crazy and the just fades and flakes. And the parts that don't fade or flake are hard to remove.
