I have looked for these ever since my drugstore quit selling them. I have mucus in the back of my throat because of nasal drip to my throat. These lozenges are the only thing I have found that help the caughing quit. In fact, I am getting an extra one for my brother

These throat discs were given to me by a physician for tonsilitis when I was a teen (I'm now in my 70's) and also required by a church choir director for all members to prevent coughing. Most drug stores carried this item until several years ago when I could no longer find it. However, I have been able to buy it through "drugstore.com" for the last few years. Thank you!

I am down to my last few broken lozenges and couldn't find them in local stores. I carry them with me everywhere. They're on my nightstand in case I wake in the middle of the night with a scratchy throat. So glad to find them here.

I first used this product when my doctor recommended it for a severe case of pneumonia in 1950. At that time, it was called "Parke Davis Throat Discs." In those days, I found it to be helpful in reducing frequency of coughs. The package today claims that this product is "Original Formula." This claim is untrue. The original throat disc product contained chloroform. That's the reason it was effective. The original throat disc also had a stronger licorice-like taste. The original packaging advised the user not to take more than a certain number per 24 hour period. This was also because of the chloroform. Even the consistency of the discs has been changed. They dissolve too quickly in the mouth and so do not last as long. The throat discs you sent me do not taste as good and they are nowhere near as effective as the originals. In fact they are less effective than any cough drop you might randomly purchase. I do not recommend them to anyone who actually seeks relief.

I have used this product for more years than I care to count. The lozenges work well.

I've used these since I was a child. They are wonderful for relieving throat irritaion and dry throat.
