I always have this in my medicine cabinet due to the fact that it is very effective for multiple purposes. It relieves symptoms related to seasonal allergies (even better than some of the newer antihistamines on the market), relieves itching and swelling caused by allergic reactions, can ease cold symptoms, helps with motion sickness/queasiness, can be used as a sleep aid and even helps with anxiety. During the spring and summer, this is a great "two for one" product when taken at night. It relieves my allergy symptoms AND helps me sleep. Taken about an hour before bedtime it helps make me drowsy. Its' sedating effects can also help in anxious situations too- if I am anxious about a social situation, a Benadryl taken about an hour ahead of time may help. I find that its' sedating effects take about an hour to peak, though allergy relief or other types of relief occur sooner. Very effective product that has more uses than you realize! A medicine cabinet staple!

If you do not require allergy medicine daily or they are normal than this should work fine for you.

Not sure if it is the gel caps that make this ineffective, but in the past the little pink pills would relieve my allergy symptoms AND let me get some sleep at night. I took these (not one pill but two) and still lay there wide awake. To be sure, I did this a couple of nights later. Same result. Did not work for me, at least that I could tell.

Benadryl is great stuff, does the job well, but I have issues with colors, flavors, and some preservatives.
This has resulted in many a time of cracking open the capsule and dealing with the Benadryl powder, not really all that fun or tasty.

These gels seem to be effective, but I wish they would package them differently. I have to take the scissors to cut them off the card.
When my order came, one side of the cardboard box was open and it had rained on my order. The box that contained the gels was soggy wet. I feel that the large box wasn't taped properly, or else, UPS is treating the packages rough causing them to pop open. This was very disappointing.
