While I did not buy Certain Dri, I bought a national pharmacy store brand version of it. This was last summer. I tried using it once, and it burned so badly, that I just buried it in my drawer thinking that my skin was too sensitive to use it. But the heavy perspiration continued. And continued. UGH! I've always been a heavy sweater. And sadly, most of my sweating had always stemmed from my own subsconscious; I aways had nervous energy in front of others. It didn't matter if I was in person, on the phone, or even corresponding in emails. As a result of being so self-conscious, I would sweat profusely. I, like many others here, would choose clothing based on color and texture. I, too, would try to hide the kiddie pools, lol, in front of others. I, too, would always perpetuate more sweat because I would be subvocalizing to myself that I must be sweating because I must be embarrassing myself or looking like an idiot (triggering that self-consciousness all over again. Sigh.) Like many of you, I got really TIRED of this cyclical sweaty HELL that I was trapped in. Speed up to two nights ago. Growing more tired of my problem, I gave that bottle a look and something told me to give it a try. I did. And I have not looked back since!! But word of CAUTION- Please do not use more than a few strokes, as you will BURN, ITCH, and may possibly get a TIGHTNESS in the surrounding skin area. Think SUNBURN. And that's what it felt like for me! I put way too much on. And that feeling lingered for almost a whole day. I applied a medicated lotion to the surrounding skin and started getting relief. I now feel back to normal. It's two days later and I have not reapplied the product either. I actually took a shower last night, washed my pits, and the stuff is STILL WORKING!!! Although I feel like I have just typed up a rough draft of a novel, lol, I think it is worth it to help anyone else out there who is struggling with what I did for so long. No one should have to live their lives like that. Remember, use it as directed. You may be able to get away with every other night use, as it's very potent. Good Luck!

A family member recommended this product to me, as I've always had a sweat problem (hello pit stains). And I LOVED it for the few weeks I used it (I would apply about every three days). But then I started to notice that my underarms were red, itchy and were growing skin tags. It was hideous, and I don't even have sensitive skin. I stopped using it immediately, and my the skin tags and such have since disappeared, but I can't bring myself to use this product again because my pit skin condition it caused was unbearable (not to mention totally gross to look at).
However, most people seem to have pretty good luck with it, and since it doesn't cost a fortune, it's definitely worth a try if you're a fellow sweater.

I've been using Certain Dri for three years. It's extremely effective in controlling perspiration problems. I used to sweat like crazy under my arms and now I don't even think about it. I love that they don't test on animals so my conscious is clean as well.

I went to the jungle in Borneo during the summer to see orangutans. This deodorant worked perfectly! I am so impressed with it. I noticed I developed small bumps under one of my arms-it's still worth it.

I have hyperhidrosis of the hands & feet, so they constantly sweat, ugh!! This product has helped me very much. It doesn't make the sweating go away completely but it definitely helps reduce some of the sweating. The key is to be consistent use Certain Dri at night & Certain Dri in the morning.

Seems to work pretty good, it will not take care of B.O but it helps with the sweating. Not really a miracle cure but it beats having my sweat glands removed.

I had excessive perspiration since I hit puberty around 12. Suffered all my life. As a kid I would tear up sheets and wrap the strips around my arm pits under my clothes until once giving a book report the fabric unwound and fell out of my shirt..I was horrified. I could feel the drip under my clothes from my arm pits to my waist, and this was just sitting in class! I was slim tall healthy but just sweated terribly.
Later in life I wore pads, sought out every cure..little lace jackets with absorbent pit pads.. Crystals name it I tried it. Even my wedding dress I chose so that the horrible half moon stains would not appear.
I found Certain Dri in 1990. I thank every day since. I no longer have sweaty pits after years go embarrassing agony. Use the roll on 2 maybe 3 times a week. It stings a bit use it at night...so what? To never again ruin silk blouses..heaven.
In between use a regular unscented spray like Sure. You will be fresh, never smell and your clothes will last much longer.
It saved my life. By the way just because your pits don't sweat there is no danger you have acres of skin and when needed you will sweat elsewhere . People are shooting Botox into arm pits to cure hydroperosis. This is cheaper and VERY EFFECTIVE!

Make sure to follow the directions, but this product is amazing. I followed the directions that came in the package, and have been using this product for a little over a week now. It is the first time in as long as I can remember that I have not perspired excessively. I have always had issues, but suddenly, I don't worry about underarm wetness, and can wear what I want to wear. It is thanks to this product.
