Some other posters have talked about irritation when using this product. But don't let that stop you. You just need to figure out how to deal with it. Like another reviewer, I use the hairdryer on a low setting to get the stuff to dry fast. Then once its completely dry I use a regular white stick deodorant/anitperspirant on top of it, just a couple swipes. This seems to calm the itchy burning effect for me. Of course only use it at night, and not right after shaving. I use it a couple times a week, about every 3 or 4 days, and I absolutely couldn't be without it. No more sweat stains, no more embarrasing wetness, no more ruined clothes!!!

I have had really good luck with the product over 5+ years, although I also had a nasty rash the first few times I used it. I do have very dry/sensitive skin though. I found that if I shook the bottle well before application, then only applied a little (literally one roll-over), the product worked and I didn't have so much irritation. This sounds corny, but using a hair dryer on "low heat - fast air" for a minute or so under each arm dried the product more quickly, and also reduced irritation. A bit of cortisone cream on any remaining irritation patches the next morning did the trick. Definitely use it at night, and definitely not around shaving/waxing time (i.e. I allow 2+ days after shaving before applying Certain Dri, then wait another day + before shaving. Being blonde helps with that timing.) Ultimately, I was able to use it "as needed" - just once every 3-4 weeks. Despite all of the cautions above, it is a brilliant product.

Unfortunately the Con of using this far out weighs the pro. The Pro is it does actually work. I have used at least 50 different types at this point and never have I found one that actually stopped the BO. Have used almost every mainstream and natural type on the market. This eliminates BO and actually does dry. The major Con is that whatever the active ingredient that preforms this miracle is...causes a major irritation!!! I am not remotely sensitive to products and have only had an allergic reaction to a body product maybe 4 times in my life. As soon as this dries my underarms are on FIRE!!!! Bright red and so painfully itchy I feel like crying. I have only ever been that itchy when I had chicken pocks over 20 years ago!!!!! I gave it way more chances then it deserved and just tossed it and contacted the company. Horrible!

I hit 14 and I don't know what happened, but I couldn't go 3 hours without looking like I ran a darn marathon. I got this stuff when I was 15, I'm now 21. I had one bottle that lasted me 5 years b/c once you apply it for a little while everyday, you only need to reapply once or twice every couple months. Atleast that's how it is for me. It does exactly what it says to do. DON'T put it on after you've shaved your arms b/c it will burn, and DON'T put clothes on after it unless it's dried b/c it will stain your clothes. The best time I've found is at night. Read the directions and it will work.

I am a 27 year old female, and prior to using this product I had a horrible sweat problem. Just minutes after showering and putting on deodorant or antiperspirant there would literally be a stream of sweat coming down my sides. My shirts were constantly soaked through, and I had gotten used to never raising my arms (tough since I teach and do a lot of public speaking). At first I was hesitant to use this product because of the weird directions, but I eventually did and the next day there was a complete difference. There is essentially no sweat anymore - at worst there can be some clamminess when it's really hot out. The first time I lifted my arms halfway then realized I didn't have anything to worry about was amazing. I can even re-wear shirts without having to wash/dry-clean! I have never experienced any side-effects like itching, redness or abnormal sweating from other body parts. I love this product and highly recommend it to anyone with an extreme sweat problem.

I've used Certain Dri for several years now. I can't say enough good about how well it has worked. I have had a few episodes of stinging but that is a small price to pay. Nothing else has even come close to its performance. And it doesn't leave stains or residue on my clothing.

This product did not work for me! I have tried everything... I bought this product based on the great reviews and was dissapointed. I used it for 2 weeks along with the Certain Dri AM and found that I am still excessively sweating, plus it causes a horrible irriation. I'm going to try Secret Clinical next to see if that works!

This product is AMAZING! I have tried everything out there, and nothing worked. 5 minutes after I was dressed, my shirt would be soaked. I wore thick, heavy sweatshirts to try and hide it, and it still soaked through. It was horrible..this product worked within two days, and I don't sweat anymore. I apply it everynight, I have to. It doesn't work as well for me if I do it everyother night. Anyway..this product is a lifesaver!
