Yes, it is more effective than regular antiperspirant, but unlike the other reviewers for me the itching and painful burning definitely outweighs the benefits. It also made my skin get peely and dry. I thought I would get used to the product and I never did, and I don't even have sensitive skin. It is also annoying that you have to apply this product only at bedtime, and not after showering or shaving. I need to put on antiperspirant right after showering as I will start sweating right away, and I shower in the morning, so I still end up having to use my old product anyway. I'm back to using dress shields or some other physical barrier to keep the sweat off my clothing.

Works great as an antiperspirant. The first time I tried it, there was a slight burning sensation. I tried it again a week later and the burning was so intense I had to shower it off. There was still some burning and I poured baby powder all over my armpits and was finally able to go to sleep. (I did not shave less than 24 hrs before applying.)

I've had excessive sweating for about two years now and I've used every deodorant out there to try and stop it, but nothing helped until I tried this product. It works, for the most part, but I have to apply it daily to keep from sweating (instead of once every other day). If you have sensitive skin, I would not recommend this product because it burns and itches when you put it on.

I've suffered from excessive sweating for years. I've tried about forty different types of antiperspirants and nothing has worked. Just when I started looking into surgery, someone told me to try certain dry. At first I was skeptical, but his product really works!!! After one night of use, the sweating stopped. So far I think this product is great. I have only used it for one night and already notice a big difference. I still have a little slight moisture under my arms, but nothing compared to what it was just yesterday. I am hoping that after a few days of use that will also go away. Maybe, I will finally be able to wear what I want and not have to worry about sweating. I have tried everything and this actually worked. What a great product!!!!

This is a great product to decrease perspiration. Working as a schoolteacher, I am on my feet running around all day, and this has made a big difference. I only need to use it every couple of days. It does itch a bit after application, but it is worth it.

I think this product works. It stopped the sweating I had been dealing with for about eight years or so, but I was under the impression that I didn't have to use any other deodorant (like in the morning), and that I would stay fresh all day...WRONG!!! It's best to use a deodorant during the day after your morning shower/bath to help with the odor, but I'm no longer sweating uncontrollably any more. It does burn/sting a little if you put on too much or if you use it immediately after bathing; so please follow the directions and you shouldn't have any problems with the product.

I am 18 and have suffered from excessive sweating since I hit puberty. I didn't believe anything would work, but I bought Certain Dri after reading all the great comments about it on this website. It works so well. I have had it for about 5 or 6 months now and haven't sweated a drop since I started using it. There are a few fallbacks that I will mention, I don't know if it affects everyone, or just me. One is that it seems that the more I use it, the more I sweat everywhere else on my body. Also, it does itch a lot especially since I am trying to get to sleep after using it! Also due to the fact that you put it on at bedtime, I often forget to use it. But this makes no difference - I've been forgetting for about 6 or 7 days now and I've still stayed dry! None of the points I mentioned bother me enough to drop the rating; I'd give it a 10 if I could. :)

This product deserves 10 stars!!! It does burn a bit if you use it too soon after a bath, and once I used it after shaving, which was a mistake, but it wasn't as bad as I would have thought. With regular antiperspirant alone, a lot of my sweaters and blouses still would retain a slight odor, but with this at night and Secret solid in the morning, there is no problem whatsoever!! (FYI, if you have sweaty feet, try this on the bottoms; it works!)
