This is the absolute best saline on the market and my eye doctor agrees. I am allergic to the preservatives in every saline out there. Softwear Saline uses a small amount of peroxide as the preservative which does not seem to bother me. Any time I use another I get eye infections. I have had none with Softwear Saline and have been using it for years. It also relieves dry eyes. Unfortunately Ciba advises they are discontinuing manufacturing. I have bought enough for two years and just do not know what I will do after that.

I have been using this product for years and love it. Went through quite a few different products at first, especially because it used to be hard to find Thimeresol-free products. This is a reliable product, I sometimes even use it if I get someting in my eye and want to rinse out my eye, and it's great. Highly recommend.

I use this to rinse my soft contact lens before putting them in. I've used several saline solutions so this one doesn't strike me as terribly unique, but it works. I would love it if it were cruelty free.

This saline comes in a bottle with a removable cap. This means there is no cap to get in the way when using it, and I've never had this brand dispense the saline out sideways or crooked as so many other brands have. This is the best, highest quality saline I've ever used.

The newest contacts require you to flush your eyes twice a days, the other Saline Solutions don't have a good nozzle and often the stream is hitting your forehead, chin or cat. They designed this nozzle to steam straight and it works perfect.

I have such a hard time finding this in stores, I always have to stock up when it is there. I'm so happy I don't have to do that anymore! This solution is wonderful for sensitive eyes; it's the only one I haven't thrown away after a few days of use.
