Unlike Theratears, a similar product, the vials for this product did not contain an equal quantity of liquid. Nonetheless, this is a great product for people looking for PRESERVATIVE-FREE drops who suffer from chronic dry eye.

I LOVE this for my problematic chronic dry eyes! Long lasting, very cohesive, forms a film or layer of moisture over the eye and just feels so good to have in. Only problem is that the eyes are a bit blurry for a little while after putting the drop in, and there is often a crusty white residue stuck on my lashes or skin around the eyes from leftover dried solution where ever it has spilled out (i remove this with a tissue or cotton ball saturated with water). Highly recommended if you have dry eyes, it's just so soothing, so comfortable to have in and greatly relieves the burning sting and redness. To me this is the best of the lot of artificial tears on the market.

This product goes in easily and soothes the eyes. It feels a bit weird and tends to cloud vision for a short while, but is the most soothing product I've found.

I have an autoimmune disease that leaves me w/o much moisture on a daily basis. I need and use the drops many times a day. I was told by my doctor that based on my needs during the day I should use drops w/o preservatives. This serves me well, coating the eyes totally, therefore providing comfort and protection for my eyes.

I have been unable to find Refresh Celuvisc in local stores. I've used this product for years as a drop on hard contact lenses before insertion. While it's not made for this, it is the only product that allows me to wear hard contact lenses with comfort all day. I also used it in Chicago before moving to the dry desert of Las Vegas. Nothing else works for me!! It will create blurry vision for a few minutes but it goes away quickly.

Always fresh and clean. Because there isn't a big multi-use bottle, there is never a worry about product contamination (getting oxidated, getting touched). Mulitple users in a household don't have to worry about cross-contamination, either. These are convenient to carry in a pocket or purse, and are sturdy enough not to break open until you twist off the top.
