Reflex watering secondary to dry eye
Sensation of grittiness
Sensitivity to light
Warnings
For external use only. Initial exacerbation of symptoms may occur. Use only if bottle seal is intact Replace cap tightly after every use. To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the container to any surface. Discard open bottle after 30 days. Contact wearers, consult a physician prior to using. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. Safety packaging: Use only if bottle seal is intact.
Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist for more than 72 hours. Changes in vision occur. You experience eye pain.

Why put chemicals into your eyes? Similisan is THE most comfortable remedy I've ever used. No burning or harshness. Unlike other drops, an hour or so later my eyes aren't dry again. It seems as though after about 2-3 years of using nothing but Similisan, the chronic dry eye symptoms have disappeared. These are priced higher than many other drops, but although I'm a senior on an extremely tight budget, there are a few things I won't skimp on. Using Similisan in my eyes is one of them. They're great.

My optometrist ...
My optometrist recommended this product for my dry eyes, which ironically are manifested by constant watering. This product does provide some relief, but is definitely not a cure.

I have used Similasan for years. I love that it is in glass, less chemicals going directly into your eye. The formula is soothing, and never stings. The best out there.
I use these drops 4 or 5 times a day. Do not ever want to be without them. My opthamologist says I have "severely dry eyes". I have had my tear ducts burned and nothing seems to help. Have tried to use Restastis and even it does not help. Please do not stop carrying these drops.

I've had dry eye for years and have probably tried every drop on the market during tha time. I've even tried prescription drops. Similasan Dry Eye Drops are the best of any I've ever used. I use 2 different drops for glaucoma and they burn and irritate my eyes much of the time. i don't know what I'd do for relief if Similasan drops were not available. Drugstore.com has the best price I've found for these drops and their delivery system is second to none.

I've used just about everything for dry eyes and itchy eyes, and this is the best. All the other "natural" products leave my eyes feeling sticky, but this just hydrates. I've used plain old eye wash, and that helps get rid of pollen and dirt, but my eyes feel dry shortly after. The down side is that it doesn't last more than an hour, and you have to use 2-3 drops, so it goes fast. Also, every once in a while I poke my eye with the applicator, but I prefer the glass bottle, so I don't really mind -- just be forewarned, if you are a bit shaky or have a problem putting in eyedrops, the applicator may be tricky to use.

These drops is close to perfect. I suffer from chronic dry eye due to a autoimmune disease. I am always searching for natural solutions in every aspect. These drops feel great in my eyes. Absolutely no burning or stinging. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars because it is very pricey and it expires after 30 days after you open it. I should of looked closer at the description before I purchased these drops. I will probably not order these drops again.
