A little difficult to know they are in the childs ear properly. My son wanted to take them out, so it was hard to keep them in his ears. We have been on many flights and although skeptical about the product decided to try it and it made landing a much happier time with our child. We used it only for landing. I will purchase these again in the future. Very happy with the product.

I must say Earplanes a godsend and have made flying so much less painful!
I bought several pairs of these children's size for myself first as I am a petit (5'1") woman with small bones. They worked great and made flying much better, and I used them for several flights. However in the end they didn't feel as comfortable in my ears as the regular adult size, tho when I first saw the adult size I thought it would be like fitting an elephant into a keyhole.
I suggest if you are small like me, first buy one pair of each and wear them around the house for an hour or 2 before you decide which is the better fit and invest in more.
This product really worked, will buy again. Easy to use.

I am a petit adult (5'1") I always have pain on descents during flights. I tried the adult size earplanes and they just didn't fit well and hurt to put in. Voila! The kids one are perfect. I use them every flight now. They say replace after 2 uses, but of I clean them well they can go for several more tho evenbtually you do have to toss them - maybe 4 or 5 uses.

I first bought the adult size of these and they were uncomfortably large, so I purchased the one for children and these are perfect - actually the box label makes it clear that they are just the "Small" size and not necessarily for children especially. I often fall asleep towards the tail end of long flights and then have ear problems because I am asleep during the initial descent and pressure builds up without me drinking or swallowing to abate it. I've used these twice now and no longer had this problem.

These worked well for my 4-year old. The flight could have been a painful one for him since he was developing an ear infection. He didn't complain at all of any ear pressure or pain when using these.
I also got a pair for my 1 year old. They didn't stay in very well though and would keep falling out.

My sons get significant ear pain, due to their eustachian tube dysfunction. I have used other methods (gum, afrin, suckers, nose pincing and blowing, etc) as measures to prevent pain, but they were marginally effective at best. I was dubious and had backup plans. But the boys did not complain once. Earplanes were so effective. We flew to Hawaii and also did some island hopping, as well. When we got home, we tossed them. We bought extras for our next trips.

when inserted properly, these earplugs are extremely effective. my children did not experience any pain on the plane while using these and usually they are screaming in pain.

Before inserting, pinch nose and blow to clear your ears. For best results, always insert EarPlanes one hour before landing. Remove after landing and when the cabin door is opened. Chronic sufferers may also insert EarPlanes just before takeoff. EarPlanes may be removed when the airplane reaches maximum altitude and reinserted one hour before landing. For maximum results, use your opposite hand to pull the top of your ear upward. Insert the ribbed end and turn like a corkscrew until snug.
Recommendation: Do not reuse after two flights since pollen, dust, and moisture will reduce effectiveness.
