I have used this test with tremendous success with all my children, including twins, and also detected two early miscarriages. Many women have complained about "false positives" which are probably chemical pregnancies/early miscarriages. I like being able to know the earliest result, especially if I have an early miscarriage. You can only detect this with this test, in my experience.

This is the first month that I am off birth control. I feel awful, so I took the first response test, one dark pink line came right away, then followed a super light one. I tried another one...same thing. I called the hotline, and they told me if I stood up and looked down at it...and can still see the line its positive. This left me feeling the same as before I took it, only more broke!

I used this 24 days after the first day of last menstrual period and it was negative, but two and half days later (26 days after) it showed a VERY faint blue line. The next day I took the test again and the line wasn't much stronger, however positive. I waited few days and took another test- this time Clearview and I got the strong positive result. I can't tell how many days before expected period it was because they are not too regular but I suppose 3 to 4, and I can definitely tell that First Response showed the positive result around 10-12 days after conception. I think it is really good.

I do not like this test at all. Last month I got a false positive. This month I bought a box of three, and all of them were positive. I was so happy, I had my doctor give me a quantative blood test and it was NEGATIVE. I was so disappointed and I will never use this test again. It just isn't trust worthy.

Personally this test has just left me FRUSTRATED. I know I'm late but not sure how late. My last period was seven weeks ago, but over the past few years I've been irregular. Took the test yesterday afternoon and the second pink line is VERY faint. Will be testing again Saturday morning. We'll see how that goes.

I used first response one week before my period was due, and it came back negative. I tested one week later with clear blue easy and it came back positive. I may have tested too early; therefore, the results were not accurate. Good luck; and you will get the results you want sooner or later.

I used this test on the day my period was due and got a negative. I tried again 3 days later and got another negative. Went to the doctor 3 days later and - Guess what??? My new baby is due on July 27th!!! I'm not saying these tests don't work, but I would absolutely not recommend testing until at least the day your period is due, or you are just wasting your money.

This is not a good test. I do not recommend it. I always get negatives and it takes too long to receive results. When I was pregnant with my first son, I kept getting a negative test. Then I switched to a different brand and came up positive right away.

I used this test last month on the day I expected my period and had a bad experience. When I read the test after three minutes, there was a second fainter, but definite line. The line faded and then disappeared over the next half hour. As it turned out, my period started the following day so I was not pregnant, but I will never use this product again.

I have been artificially inseminated this month, and I have all kinds of symptoms of being pregnant. I believe with ALL of my heart that I have received 2 false negatives from First Response. I have done some research on the web, and only 2 kinds of tests are "truly" accurate besides lab work at the doctor's office... Confirm and E.P.T. If you really need to know to confirm your hunch, get Confirm or EPT.
