Agree with the other negative reviews here. The resulting discharge was horrible. For me it did not occur right away, but after several months use so if you are not experiencing it immediately, it can still happen. The most disgusting side effects I have ever experienced from any product. They are remiss in not including this in their product info.

This product works very well for me. I have used it for 5 years and I am only 40. I get very dry after my period because my hormones really affect me strongly. I do use this before bedtime but not right before intercourse. I've not had any excess discharge. If you use it during waking hours of course it will 'spill' out and not have a chance to be absorbed a bit. The effects last a few days until my body is back in swing. Makes intimate moments possible, otherwise I have to wait. They are conveniently single doses that can travel easily too. I would try other brands but Replens seems to be most affordable per usage. Why are these products so expensive really!??

Best for problems of dryness as experienced after menopause. Have been using it for 10 years (now 60 years old) and it makes intercourse comfortable again. Some white clumps do come out when I urinate but it's no big deal. Does not cause burning or itching. Applied every 3 or 4 days after showering. Not a substitute for a vaginal lubricant--- Vagisil great for that. I found K-Y Jelly burned.

If I could give this product zero stars, I would. I had that cottage cheese/wet paper-like discharge along with burning. I wish I knew that it could have happened before I used it but that wasn't on the package. Very embarrassing and did not moisturize at all. What a letdown!

Works Great. Part of how this great product works is that it speeds up the release of aged skin cells and gets the old cells ready for removal, so yes there could be some discharge. You want there to be discharge, especially when first beginning to use Replens, (the name I am sure is to remind one of replenishment) NEW, FRESH skin cells are regenerating, helping the vaginal walls have a silky, new skin feel because they are NEW cells, once the old has left the body. For those having cottage cheese, yes you also have yeast and are noticing MORE discharge just as the directions say one will.

I have been treated with high dose chemo, this caused severe vaginal dryness. I cannot use any hormone base lubricants. Replens has worked wonders. Yes there is a "cottage cheese" type discharge but being able to be intimate with my husband instead of being in severe pain makes the discharge tolerable.

I have used Replens 3 times. All 3 times I had the cottage cheese like discharge, each time it seems to have gotten worse. Last night I had BURNING, itching and lots of gross discharge while having intercourse! I got online to check to see if these were the side effects of using Replens. I have severe yeast problems as well as very dry skin now that I am perimenopausal. I certainly do not need anything that is going to cause even more problems for me! I am very disappointed that Replens does not have these side effects listed on the box nor on the instruction sheet! I had to go online to find out that others have also had these side effects.

I admit it- I was an informed consumer. I read the reviews posted here about the "cottage cheese" and thought, "nah, that can't be right, or they'd never sell the stuff twice!" OH. MY. GOD. This has to rank among the most disgusting product side effect, ever. Unless you want to be thoroughly grossed out, or you are not using this product intending to have or maintain a positive sexual experience- do NOT use this stuff.
