Bactine used to cure everything from, cuts, stings, itches, even fungus but it's not any where near as good as it used to be, still use it on cuts and scratches /(from my cat ) but that's about it.

This product is great. I use it for small cuts...even to help dry up pimples! (There is research too that this product may also help cold sores/shingles/herpes sores heal faster too!) One thing: I'm used to it being a spray bottle and this is the liquid. That means that you have to dribble it on a cotton ball or something to apply it- but no big deal. I highly recommend this as something to always keep in your medicine cabinet!

I have always enjoyed using Bactine, but the only Bactine I could recently find in the stores around here was in a spray top bottle that is very inconvenient to use. The bottle offered here is the same one I remember using since childhood and is much easier to apply.

Service and delivery comments:

The delivery was prompt.
The bottle cap was off, spilling half of the contents. No other item was harmed, but the bottom of the shipping carton was soaked. For some unknown reason, drugstore.com didn't shrink wrap the fluid containers as they have in the past. The product is okay, but shouldn't be ordered on-line.

Have been using this for decades for cuts, scrapes, and other mishaps.

Seems like the Bactine formula (and its unique pleasant smell) has not changed for years.

Always has worked fine as a first aid liquid (in the sense that none of the treated cuts ever became infected). Keep those flesh-eating bacteria away...with good hygeine and Bactine. That is all.

Our family uses this wonderful product for many things. Scrapes and cuts, to ease sunburn, to clean skin before plucking eyebrows, facial hair, to sanitize ear lobes where pierced earring irritation could occur it is a general all round aniseptic. The pain reliever really works.
