I think that this is the only diaper cream that works. I have used it on 2 of my children. Its great stuff.

My son's butt is the envy in Daycare. I used this on him when we lived in New Orleans and we order it now through Drugstore.com because we can not find it in Northern VA. This stuff smells and works better than Desitin and A&D. Thibideaux would be proud of Boudreaux's formula!

I highly recommend this for any parent. When my baby first got diaper rash, I tried Desitin and she screamed like it hurt her every time I applied it. A friend recommended that I try Boudreaux's. It cleared up her rash quickly and my baby didn't scream when I put it on. It also smells MUCH better than Desitin. I use it all the time now for rash prevention. Some people may be put off by how it looks (more like something you would take OUT of the diaper rather than put in) but it works so well, who cares!

I have been using this product since it was only available in small town, "Mom & Pop" stores in Louisiana and I'll NEVER use any other type of diaper cream. Thank goodness Boudreaux's is now available online (we're not in LA anymore and you can't find the product in any stores in FL)! I have used Boudreaux's on all of my children and have had success like no other diaper cream. I was not so sure about the product to begin with - it has an odd color and the texture is so smooth it's almost slimy. But after just one use I was hooked. Anyone with children in diapers must have this cream!

Since I'm not currently suffering from "diaper rash

This product was great for soothing chapped areas, and helped heal my skin very quickly! If one is going to be in water, put some on beforehand and it helps stop chapping. Someone needed to create this. Well, now they have! I live at the bottom of the Cascade Mountains and we get quite a bit of frost. Doing some winter preparations irritates one's hands and face. This helps a great deal.

I liked the consistency of this product -- nice, thick and smooth. The smell wasn't bad either. My daughter had some diaper redness on her bottom right when the Butt Paste arrived. I put the paste on her and by the next diaper change I could tell a difference. I will continue using the product as long as I have it. It isn't the most miraculous stuff I have found for diaper redness/rash, but it's very good. I would recommend it to anyone.

I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this product, although it was adequate. The scent was quite strong, and I fear allergy problems in infants. It also left a gritty feel on the skin, which rinsed off, but was not comfortable. One of the active ingredients is Peruvian Balsam, which I believe accounts for the scent, and is a known allergen. The "butt paste" worked quite well on my dry skin, but for a baby? Not this one.

I used this product on my infant and I didn't really notice a difference, but he didn't have diaper rash at the time. I do prefer this product just based on the smell and texture. It doesn't stick to your fingers and smell strong, like the diaper rash ointment I'd previously been using.

It's all in the name: Butt Paste. It's almost too funny, but it works! I wouldn't tell anyone that I used Butt Paste for rash or jock itch, and I don't think anyone would tell me if they used it either. Still, the name is catchy and the product works. I'm happy with it.
