When I used the famous yellow-packaged brand of triple antibiotic ointment, my skin would itch. My doctor told me that I have a sensitivity to neomycin, which is one of the ingredients in the famous brand. This polysporin has 2 of the 3 antibiotics found in the famous brand, but without the irritating neomycin. It's the only antibiotic ointment we keep around the house now. Works like a charm and no itching!

Safest and Effective, but Pricey
This is a good double antibiotic ointment, with no added pain reliever or neomycin which can both cause further irritation to some people's skin. It is pricey however.

I have used this product before and found that it works very well. Polysporin is compatisble to Neosporin. It is very easy to use and you Do Not need to use that much on the wound.

I only bought this because of one of the Reviews. Thanks who ever you are. I would never buy Neosporin again. Had been using it on a wound and it would not heal. Three days with Polysporin and it is healed !
