I haven't been using this product for too long but for the short time seems to be doing the trick, I have these annoying boils and I put some Prid on, covered it with a bandaid and the next day it surfaced. It's a bit smelly but you can use it at night!

When I was first introduced to Prid I was sceptical. I used it for boils and I was hooked. It stops them dead in their tracks. Begins to relieve the pain associated with them as it draws the problem to the surface. A must have.

I have been using Prid since I was a child. The consistency is different than it was years ago. It used to be black as tar, but I noticed that it is now brown in color. Not sure that it is as effective as it was years ago. It still works on boils, and hard, red zits. I applied this to a large, annoying thing on my face with a band-aid and it was gone the next day. My DH didn't believe me and said, "Oh, wow gross" (the salve, not my pimple). He changed his mind after he saw the results. And, has since used this on splinters and other ouchies.

My three year old son had a boil on his chest, and I used a glob of it on him and put on a band aid after his bath, the next morning all the puss had come out and he was all better. I really worried about using commercial stuff on him as he has really sensitive skin, but this all natural product really put my mind at ease. My babysitter couldn't believe the results, and bought a tin to try on her acne. I will let youknow if it works.

PRID has been in our household since I was little. My mother put it on bee stings and used it to draw out splinters and infection. I also thought that they had quit making it but found out recently that [...] still carries it but they keep it behind the pharmacy counter. All you have to do it ask for it!

I have used Prid since 1996 and I absolutely love it. I was down to my last tin when I found it online at drugstore.com I am so happy that they had it I ordered 6 right away. I use it on cuts to make sure they don't get infected I have given these little tins to my family members and have instructed them to treat them like gold. I put it on 2 of my cats that had gotten into fights and got scratched badly and it cured them and healed them so fast I didn't have to treat them but once. Every household should have atleast 1 tin in their first aid kit.

I¿ve had what I suspect is a deep pimple under my skin for about a week. I did a little research online and discovered drawing salve. There were so many good reviews for this product I decided to give it a try. I applied the product and left it on every night under a band aid for 4 nights. Unfortunately for me it had no affect of pulling the pimple out like I had hoped. The blemish is diminishing but at a very slow rate and the drawing salve didn¿t seem to speed things along. I¿m not saying the product doesn¿t work but in my situation it didn¿t work.

Based on the reviews, I bought this to draw out the boils that my daughter develops under her arms. We have had some success with it but I think what has worked better is this ointment I used to be able to buy locally called Draw Out Salve, which was dirt cheap and even smellier and gooier than the Prid ointment. Although based on the reviews of Prid and the success others have had using it for everything from pimples to bee stings and splinters there is definitely a place for the Prid ointment in my medicine cabinet arsenal.

My friend had a boil on his leg. He has no health insurance so I offered this for home treatment. He applied it 4-5 times daily for about 3 days. It drew the infection out efficiently and he was able to manage at home with just the drawing salve, sterile gauze, and clean technique.
