Test first on a well lit, inconspicuous spot with light pressure. Let the spot dry to see if it is modified or damaged. Not recommended for the following surfaces: High Gloss, Polished, Dark, Brushed, Satin, Faux, Bare/Polished Wood, or Stainless Steel. If using for dishwashing, rinse dishes thoroughly. Do not use with chlorine bleach, on vehicle body, or post-factory tinted glass.

I tried to use it to clean white-wall car tires on the recommendation of the dealer. The product crumbled and fell apart ... tires were still dirty and I had to vacuum up the crumbles. This product was totally useless for my application
I hate to clean, but I love these things. These do the best job on finger stains on walls and wallpaper, new stains on grout, finger prints on stainless steel appliances, and a super job on faucets.
