So a friend told me I should look into SlimFast. I knew I couldn't drink the cans, because I'm lactose intolerant, and she told me there is a powder that you can mix in with soymilk (or lowfat milk, etc). I have used it for about 2 weeks, every morning for breakfast, and I have lost 4 pounds! It's thicker than just a drink, it has more of a shake texture, but not that thick. You can make it a shake if you blend it with ice though. You have to mix it really well, my friend uses her magic bullet to mix it completely. It tastes great and I love it. Now I just need to find a larger container of it!

I've been drinking a shake daily since having a molar pulled last week. I have also had the runs daily since drinking Slim Fast and attribute this to the carrageenan in this product! I need a liquid-only diet while my stitches and bone heals up, but day 5 go dry socket, so I'll be on liquids for a bit longer than hoped. I thought Slim Fast would offer the nutrition and protein needed, but after reading the label, I find it better to avoid SlimFast and just make a nice milkshake and take a very good multi vitamin. I started doing this today and assume my stomach will be pleased in a day or 2. The carrageenan in SlimFast is a known irritant to the digestive system, causing diarrhea in some people; I'm one of them!

The chocolate flavor was decent, it mixed easily. I felt it was a little too sweet, but overall ok. I used Slim Fast years ago without any side effects, but this time around it did bother my stomach. I haven't continued using it because of this.

I use Slim-Fast powder as a meal replacement to ensure balanced nutrition. It tastes best when blended with crushed ice and milk or milk substitute. My only issue is that Slim-Fast with nonfat milk is so 'lean' I add a lot of peanut butter (with its many calories) to improve taste/texture further. I am starting to try coconut milk (with its healthy fats) instead. In any case, Slim-Fast is great-tasting and nutritious.

I have just started drinking it for 3 days, replaced my dinner with this shake. And I felt great, I love the taste and enjoy drinking it a lot. It tastes just like "Neskquick" lol. It's easy to drink, I mixed it with 2%fat milk.. and looking forward to see the result in term of weight loss. So far, weight is not going down yet but I feel better around my waist. If you're a chocolate lover, I recommend this "Chocolate Royale"

This meal replacement drink is easy to dissolve and does not have clumps when mixed with water. Each drink can last approx 2 to 3 hours when mixed and consumed with water. For a more satiable feeling, mix with non-fat milk and you can last till lunch! Can't wait to try other flavours from Slim-Fast!

I'm lactose intolerant so I mix with a glass of water instead of milk. It's obviously not as smooth, but it tastes the same. I suck it down with a straw for a quick meal. It's easy, no complaints here.
Pour 1 level scoop (inside can) of Slim Fast Optima Shake Mix into a large glass. Add 8 fl oz. of very cold Vitamin A&D fortified fat free milk. Sit well and enjoy.
