This mix may have more sugar and less protein than some other brands, but the taste is the best I have found out of several chocolate weightloss/protein shakes that I've tried. So far, I have only mixed this powder with water in a blender, and it still blends great and tastes great. Sometimes I mix it with my other chocolate powders to make them taste better! It does a great job of suppressing my hunger too! Especially if I drink a Special K Protein Water right after it. I can go from feeling really hungry to being satisfied for hours.

I only buy the powder so I can mix it the way I want the bottles I tried them an they have a funny tasted I can't drink them...been drinking the powder for at least ten years an hope they won' t discontinue the powder.

I use this shake every weekday, it's fast, convenient and you just add skim milk and shake, then pour. I use the "Blender Bottle" to mix the powder and milk.

This is my favorite flavor of Slim Fast. Typically I blend it with skim milk and 4 ice cubes for a delicious chocolate shake. Sometimes I add a bit of instant espresso powder to make it a frozen mocha. Yum. I love that it has balanced nutrition and plenty of fiber. I only wish it were a little less sweet, then it would be perfect. I do not follow the Slim Fast Plan, however, I have used this product as a weight loss aid while counting total calories. I have lost 50 pounds.

Tastes great, and is filling. So it is spoon stirrable, but I've noticed it can get a little gunky towards the bottom even if you stir it really well. My technique to minimize that is to put half the milk and all the powder, stir it up, add the rest of the milk, stir it up -- and save the spoon to scoop up the last bits.

Pour 1 level scoop (inside can) of Slim Fast Optima Shake Mix into a large glass. Add 8 fl oz. of very cold Vitamin A&D fortified fat free milk. Mix well and enjoy.
