I used Oilatum bar soap for many years until it was discontinued, i ordered Kiss .my Face on the recommendation of A rekative. First, the 8oz bar is very big and awkward to use. It is apoarently soft milled, and the bottom beecame very mushy, making it even more difficult to handle. My skin felt sticky after use, rather than smooth, clean and soft.

I like the ingredients in this product and the fact that you can get roughly 50 washes out of a single bar of soap. What I don't like is the fact that it falls apart in your shower. If it stays wet -- unavoidable in some showers -- the outer layer starts to come off. There was constantly a "goopy"-type layer coming off. But for this, I probably could have gotten another 10-15 showers out of this bar of soap.

Husband hates this soap and says it smells like dirt.

I feel it does smell earthy, but it doesn't bother me. What does bother me is how large this is! I have a hard time using it without dropping. It also doesn't suds much and it makes my shower soap shelf stained with army green soap residue.

We will use it up but won't repurchase.

I bought this soap after watching " Dr. OZ " . He had a dermotologist on and recommended for pimples a green tea bag on blemishes - well , my face had so many blemishes that one tea bag wasn't going to touch it . I sought out a green tea soap and it worked beautifully . It worked almost immediatley - my face is just about clear an d free from pimples. Thank You and please don't discontinue this product .

While i appreciate that this is made from natural products, and that green tea is good for your skin, this soap dries my skin out badly and gets very gooey in the shower. You have to actively rub the goo off you because water alone will not rinse it off. This soap also does not lather well.

I like the smell of this soap and the way my skin feels after using it. The soap goes well with the Kiss my Face lotion I had purchased previously.

Stings my eyes and doesn't do a very good job of make up removal, but leaves skin so soft.

I agree with the reviewer who said she cuts this bar of soap in half. It's so large that it is difficult to hold on to in the shower unless you cut it in half. That being said, you are getting a lot of soap for your money! I think the scent is ok - don't love it or hate it. I typically buy unscented products so that would always be my preference. But this soap seems to clean very well and isn't drying.

I've given this to a few people as small gifts and they love them. It has a great smell too it. It doesn't make you queasy like most scents. The bar is huge, too.
