This company has been around a long time, and their products tend to be low tech and effective. For several years, I used Evian spray for a toner after washing my face particularly to neutralize the drying effects of chlorine in the tap water. This is less expensive and works just as well. I spray it on my face, neck, and décolletage (ooh! la! la!) and give my skin time to absorb it. Then I pat with a dry washcloth to remove any remaining glycerin on my skin's surface and apply a light moisturizer. After that I'm ready for light makeup or bedtime. I also keep one at my desk for use at work during the day when I need to refresh. I think it's my #1 "age defying" product.

I love the way this makes my skin feel. I use this after I put my make-up on to set it and it gives a nice glow to the skin. It is also moisturizing and refreshes especially out here in this desert heat! While the smell isn't of roses, it isn't that bad and it goes away pretty quickly. I get plenty of compliments on how healthy my skin looks.

The smell is too strong to apply on my skin. I use it to activate the Facial pads.

Smells old and musty, frankly. The product is essentially over priced for what it is- old fashioned rose water and some other things that claim to make a difference. I wanted to use this before my moisturiser for lock in moisture . [...] I will persevere with it to see if the other ingredients do make any difference... but will never again buy it mainly due to the smell

i bought this spray to keep my skin moisty on the plane. it gets the job done but i really don't like the smell, not rose scent at all.

I started using frownies about a year ago. I love it! It is the only brand that has been able to calm my extremely sensitive skin. I tend to get hormonal break outs and dry patches. I do not like facial moisturizers because they are always greasy & sticky (plus I'm lazy in the morining and don't like messing with it). This spray is great!! It takes 2 seconds to use, it's very soothing, gently moisturizes, and smells great. (Usually things are way too perfumy for me.) I highly recommend both the spray and the wash!!

I use this all the time, it feels so refreshing!!! In the summer heat its a MUST HAVE and in the winter it hydrates and softens your skin when the heat dries out the room, most of all it feels and smells good. I even spray some in the back of my neck. It is not often that I even write a review saying I like a product but I do like this very much. I wish it was a little cheaper though.

I'm 40 years old with combo skin--I have wrinkles and fine lines but also oily skin and often blackheads. I use this on face and neck, then add dabs of moisturizer only where needed--in the summer this is my only moisturizer. It eliminates the tight dry feeling, leaves my skin looking "dewy," smells great (subtle, natural rose fragrance from rose water, won't clash with your perfume), and my pores look much cleaner since they aren't clogged up any more.

I love the smell. It reminds me of when I was a child, our church had a lots of rose bushes also I use Frownies Rose Water Hydrator Spray as a perfume what a great smell.

Great for humid climates.
