I use this with a foundation brush. When I was at the store, I picked out the wrong color ( a shade too dark) and have been meaning to go back and get another one. Other than that, I like this. It is kind of hard to blend on the hair line, and does nothing if your skin is oily at the end of the day. I have noticed that if I wear it too much, it does cause breakouts. And if you are planning on buying this product, a little goes a LONG way. But it makes your skin very, um, well done--(meaning it looks natural, and pretty at the same time!) I'm a fan--hopefully I can get the right shade sooon!

I have used this foundation for about a year. I have rosacea, and brown pigmentation from HRT, and this is the only foundation I have used that completely covers it and gives me a flawless look. I have noticed some of the flaws others complained of: it rubs off rather easily on clothing, and in winter when I have some dry flakiness, it tends to accentuate it. Other than that, it's pretty perfect for me, plus comes in a wide variety of colors so I can match very closely to my natural color, and is less expensive than some other drugstore makeup brands.

I have combination/sensitive skin and suffer from acne and mildy flushed skin. I don't like heavy coverage that makes me look fake. This foundation was very smooth and easy to spread and easy to control the coverage. I just want to even out my skin tone, not completley hide my face. It kept my skintone even and smooth all day without ever making my look greasy. Normally my skin starts the day a little dry (even with moisturizer) and then ends dripping with oil. My skin looks fresh all day wearing this!

I love this foundation. I mix it with moisturizer so its more like a liquid foundation and apply with a 187 MAC type brush. A little does go a long way. Application is just as important as the product itself. I hope they never stop making this!! I love MAC but this may be the only foundation I'll ever need.

I really like this foundation. Its easy to apply & blend, and it matches my skin tone pretty well. The packaging makes it very easy to use and carry around. There is only one downfall - it causes me to break out. If I wear it too often acne shows up all over the place, and the skin around my nose and on my forehead really dries out. Besides that, it's easy and comfortable to use from time to time and on certain occasions.

I really like this foundation. The shade is pretty close to mine, and gives my skin a warm look. It's easy to apply and blend, and covers almost all imperfections and flaws. It can actually work as a concealer as well! Another thing is that although my skin gets oily during the day, this foundation doesn't make my skin look extra shiny. I love the packaging, too. The reason why I took away one star is because it causes breakouts. Whenever I use it for too long I end up having my face covered in acne. And I think it's better to wear no foundation, than to wear foundation on top of a bunch of zits, which looks even worse. That's why I only wear it on special occasions, when I go out, etc. Otherwise it's good.

I've tried far too many foundations for a 17-year-old: M.A.C. Studio Tech, M.A.C. Studio Fix, Faces powder, Maybelline PureStay, Maybelline Superstay Silky, CG Smoothers, and Covergirl Advance Radiance. I went from liquid to powder, and back to liquid. My skin is combination, dry with an oily T-zone; especially on my chin. The liquids looked too fake, and the powders went on thick. Dream Matte Mousse is truly a dream - it covers redness and my minor imperfections, goes on smooth, and doesn't make my face all shiny. The only problem is, on the days that I have really dry skin, it accentuates it. But other than that, it's great!

I rarely use foundation, but my skin has had some uneven tones lately. I picked this up because I love the mousse eyeshadow, and I am happy with my purchase. It blends smoothly and seamlessly and feels great. Only thing is that is rubs off fairly easily, like if you brush your face against some clothing... but I guess that is true for anything really.

I tried it after recommended by a family member. It was wonderful that all my cousins used it. I am so choosy with make up and I have a lot of allergies but this product fit well in my skin. I loved it.

I've been using this foundation for 5-plus years now, and to commemorate in sync with my rating of 5 stars, this review is dedicated to all of you who are looking for the ultimate cover. It has become the premium base makeup for my regimen, and that's very cool considering there is always something else out there that draws me in out of curiousity - yet it never fails to be the best for my skin type (normal to oily, with dry patches here and there). This mousse takes 10 years off my real age and it continually warrants a positive comment or two from my female friends and my boyfriend, along with male strangers passing by - no joking! ... apply a very small amount (too much, as with any other matte foundation, will produce an artificial coverage) ... also, for those with a light to medium skin tone, the "Classic Ivory" is best for daytime wear ... i use the "Natural Ivory" for a night out - looks great on blondes or brunettes! ... go for it!
