I love the Pureology ...

I love the Pureology shampoos and conditioners, so I had high hopes for this product. I was, however, quite disappointed. My first applications were as instructed; using the nozzle to the roots primarily. This left me with '80's hair in crispy, crunchy strings. So, I tried applying it to my palms first to be sure I distributed it more sparingly; still no luck. I tried using less, which gave simply less of this undesirable effect. After a dozen or more tries, I haven't found satisfaction in the type or amount of application of this product to give me anything but either waxy, coated-feeling hair, or the frozen yarn-locks effect.

I pinch my pennies to afford this mousse. It is amazing. The ability to spray the mousse only at the roots keeps the rest of my hair from feeling stiff, which is a problem for my curly, long hair. My hair looks like I teased it to have that "lift" around where I part my hair, which is impossible to do with curly hair and not produce frizz.

This product is superior to other brands for very fine, colored hair. It is important to use a smaller amount than is necessary with other brands. My hair is more managable, and my color does not fade. I love all the Pureology products.
