I have tried all the fancy schmancy liquid drain openers with the gels and the double barreled necks and even the one with the plastic snake attachment. Meh and schmeh. None of them holds a candle to plain old Liquid Plumbr. I used this one the same way as the other ones - apply the auger first to loosen the clog, then follow the directions on the bottle with the liquid drain opener. Only Liquid Plumber got the clog out in one go, so that I didn't have to break out the plunger. My only (very minor) complaint is that you are meant to use half the bottle - which I did (I think) - but measuring it out is not easy with this bottle. If you have someone in your house who routinely clogs the toilet, you need this on autoship.

it works well. our drain was getting slow recently and we decided to try this product. we poured about 1/3-1/4 of bottle and left it overnight, then next morning pour the hot water into the drain. it really clean the drain. I will repeat it definitely.

We had tried a variety of products and none seemed to work. This was a last resort before contacting a plumber. It worked well. I let it set in the pipes a little longer than recommended, then boiled hot water in a tea kettle. I poured 3 tea kettles of boiling water down after the wait time in all of the drains and it cleaned the pipes beautifully. As with any of these types of products, it needs to be used with caution and not around kids or pets.

The product is easy to use, but it seems pretty ineffective to me after using more liquid than recommended, and letting it sit for lots longer than suggested in the instructions. Still had a slow draining sink even though there was no bad clog originally.

It works slowly I guess. I had badly clogged sink by hair. At first I used a half bottle and turn on the faucet after 15 minutes the water didn't flow down fast. Instead of using the rest I've watched it for a few days using the sink. It became better for days and after 3 days or so the sink was cleaned throughly.

It works just like regular strength. The instructions say use half a bottle, but I found that didn't do much. My clog wasn't even that severe - water would drain and only backed up if I turned the pressure on high. I only saw a minimal difference, but probably would've seen better results had I used the entire bottle. But if that's the case how is it any different from regular strength?
Pour 1/2 bottle (2 cups) slowly down the drain. For full clogs, pour in entire bottle. Wait 15 minutes. In cases of standing water, wait until drain is clear. Flush with hot water. For garbage disposals, follow same usage directions and flush with disposal running. Avoid all splashing. Do not use with plunger or in toilets.
