I don't have dandruff or flaking but have had a bit of itching lately, likely due to a build up of conditioner, styling products and perspiration from hot, sticky weather. This product cleans thoroughly and completely eliminated the itching. I would only use it once per week though for my particular issue as it seems it may be a bit drying. It thoroughly cleaned my hair and refreshed my scalp. My hair is shinier and had more volume, but if you have any kind of color process you definitely need a weightless conditioner of some kind to prevent any drying or fading of your color.

This shampoo has harsh sulfates in it, which can easily contribute to dandruff. I have been searching for a solution to my dandruff since I was a child and nothing has worked for me. I noticed this shampoo is terrible, since it only works if you wash your hair every single day. Some homemade hair masks even work better to combat my psoriasis for about two or three weeks. This shampoo really does nothing but dry my hair out and strip it of it's natural oils, which only causes my dandruff to get worse in the long run.

This is probably one of the most ineffective anti-dandruff shampoo I've ever used. I gave this brand many tries and has always gave me disappointing results. Before I head and shoulders, Ive been using tresemme, but I ran out. The only shampoo left was head and shoulders so I decided to use it. NEVER AGAIN. When I used Tresemme, I had minimal to none dandruff on my head but once I used head and shoulders, it gave triple the amount of danruff on my head. If you really want to find a anti shampoo, try tresemme because it works better than head and shoulders. On the website, it said "100% flake free". Its obviously lying. It may work on some of you, but not for me. They should've said 99% of the time, not 100% because its misleading. Also, for the price it is sold for, its definately not worth my money.

Have used this product for 30+ years. Periodically I leave for something else, only to return because of how it cleans my hair. It IS a great product, and handles a sensitive scalp very, very well!!

I use this almost daily, it controls my dandruff. It has a nice smell and lathers well. It can be a bit drying and I try to use a deep conditioner or switch shampoos every few days.
For maximum dandruff control, use every time you shampoo. Shake before use. Wet hair. Massage onto scalp. Rinse. Repeat if desired. For best results use at least twice a week or as directed by a doctor.
